  • the biggest deal is, they cant help it. doesnt matter how long you have had them or how well you trained them, or if they have NEVER been aggressive in the past. Its still a factual statistic that they can still be triggered to "go off" at any given point, if the right trigger is in place. what that trigger is, varies from dog to dog. but are you following me? the thing is you cant get too comfortable around them. i know you guys all love pitts out there, but sorry its just a well known fact

  • yes but pitts are diff, they have something in their heads that just goes off one day. its something to do with the breeding/inbreeding of their kind. true that there may be other breeds that are susceptible to the same thing, but on a much much much lower case by case scenario. i dont know how many times i see headlines in the paper or on the news of another family friendly pitt that attacked a kid or mauled them to death. this is literally the only breed that this is known for.

  • eat my animal barf

dogs are still animals like rats only bigger

oh and eat my monkey barf just like your mom did

  • We have three rescues, one a rottweiller/shepherd cross. I too am sick of people stereotyping certain breeds. My vet has 4 pitbull rescues and one is a therapy dog.

They are all beautiful. Thank you for the video! I bet you go through a lot of dog food!

  • Yes I would teach my kids to hurt others if necessary. Pets are not part of any family I have. They are pets animals nothing more. You go on like they are so much more. Damn animal huggers. Worse than idiots saving whales.

  • @vatowaycabron you're an idiot if you think like that. BTW, you're a monkey. An animal as well. Sorry if your parents never loved you.

  • I like mokeyz

  • awwwww I WANT TO give these dogs BIG hugs

  • Who are the 5 crazy people who disliked this?

  • paused it at1:49 they are so cute!

  • sweet :3

  • I love your photos! We have two rescue dogs we think are lab/doberman mix and one really looks like Cleo. We LOVE doggies...all breeds. Our video, "Poncho and Lefty, the best dogs in the world" is on youtube. MsChrissyp

  • I love your dogs =) I hate how my parents were so stereotypical about pit bulls, rottweilers, and doberman. When I got my own place i got all of the breeds, and they love my dogs. And just because they are grown and come from a bad background doesn't mean they will turn on you or be bad >=\. Rescued Pits/rotts/dobes are just as amazing as raising them as pups.

  • Pitt-weiler

  • Beautiful dogs you have there. We are dog rescue owners and one of them is a 2yr. Pit Bull. He is so amazing and love being the baby of the three. After seeing your vid, I just don't know why so many people would rather buy a pup from a breeder than saving a innocent dog on death row!!! You also made a good point at the end...thank you!

  • This reealy brings me to tears people should take care of these dogs and animales better and not see them as weppons its not the dogs its the people

  • They are wonderful and very beautiful dogs! You can see how glad and thankful they are to have such a good home, and the love in their eyes

  • that is one HELL of a dog

  • OMG my dog's name is Cleopatra too and she's a pitt/rott mix. Awesome video!

  • nice dogs man i love the video

  • i have a rot-pit mix and mine is short as hell and he is 7 months old and his name is rocky why ie he so short ?

  • @spleansceen maybe he is short, but stuper stocky

  • i just rescued a rottie from a kid who couldnt take care of it but i think it may have some pit in it. Any way to tell other then a trip to the vet ? He is smaller then our rottie we just had to put down but has a neck on him like an oak tree . Would like to send you a pic of him to see if you could tell. He was def abused as a pup I think he is about a year old very head and male shy Very smart and alert had him for three days and doing well putting up with 2 kittens and a cat divrack@aol.com

  • nice

  • gay

  • this lady is so fucking right im gnna go cry now

  • absolutely gorgeous dogs and I agree wholeheartedly about the owners being at fault for aggressive dogs.

  • You look into the eyes of Hannah and you can see so much Love :)

  • @Dimescream Hannah is the oldest one. Cleo and Xena know it too. Which is funny because she is so much smaller then they are. She is a very loving dog that is for sure.

  • @jk2ride i would never come to your house

  • @jk2ride Cleopatra just passed away this past Sunday. Nov.27 2011 We will miss you and love you always as much as you loved us. Rest in peace my big girl. One day I wil be wrestling with you again. Love your Daddy.

  • Wonderful tape with a lot of beautyful dogs! How many dogs do you have?

  • @Astrid270718 we have three. We received a puppy from Xena a year ago and now she is over a 105lbs she shows no aggression what so ever but loves to be held and hugged. We love our dogs.

  • @jk2ride just be careful, bring the rotbull mix up well, and it can be the nicest dog ever, if you don't, It'll get aggressive. Pit bulls are bred for fighting and rottweilers for hunting so by nature they are aggressive. From these picture I don't think that'll be a problem though :)

  • Your rotwieller and pitbull need to be put down For a nap in a doggy bed. When they wake up give them a bit of sausage and belly rubs. They're fine examples of how their breeds really are. I hope they live long lives. :)

  • Michael Vick Mix? These are wonderful dogs, not dangerous at all :P

  • Aw! My dog is named Cleo too! shes a pitbull and rottweiler mix! we also have a cat name Seven, and I thought Cleo would be mean to Seven but shes actaully quite nice to him! Their the best pets ever :]

  • Hi, just wanted to say that I enjoyed the video!! Cleopatra looks like an awesome dog with a great personality!! I have just recently adopted a rottweiler / Pitbull mix and he looks very similar to your dog except he's a puppy. I've never trained a dog before and even though he's a good pup that seems to learns quickly, I still feel a bit overwhelmed at times. If you have any suggestions or tips on raising this kind of puppy, it would GREATLY appreciated. Thank you....and thanks for posting!!

  • Thank you for you comment and question. The best way to raise these type of dogs are: love them, make sure they know who is boss, and socialize them. Never let them eat to much. Rottis have a tendency to eat even when they are not hungry. I call them happy eaters. When they get excited or happy they tend to eat.

  • Thank you for that info..i'm learning new things everyday about being a dog owner. = D

  • wow Cleopatra is a big girl, looks like a sweet heart.

  • She is an awesome dog.

  • Our Pit Bull is mean to our cats, but not us or any other human, especially small kids

  • I like your video. Im going monday to pick a pitbull/rott mix pup up. Thanks!

  • .....

  • I think some people are mis reading the title. Cleo is our purebred Rotti and Hannah is a Queensland Heeler and Pit mix. Sorry for the confusion out there. Glad that most enjoy the video. We have a new Rotti the daughter of the puppy you see in this video.

  • you wanna sell the new puppy??

  • Is xana mixed? I just got a puppy and he appears to be a mixed rotti, he looks just like xana

  • What we know of Xena is a purebred we have met the parents.

  • u are exactly right people have to train those dogs to be mean we had a rotweiler and he was very lovable

  • thats the kind of dog i have his name is KING he is very strong

  • I'm a claims adjuster and until recently, we've been told to report "vicious breeds" we see at customers' houses. Just this week my company finally issued new risk advice guidelines stating we only report it if the dogs exhibit vicious behavior (i.e. baring teeth, lunging at the claims rep, etc). Makes sense. I've seen nice pit bulls and rotties and I've seen mean golden retrievers. Search YouTube for video # JkUq7x4IiGU if you want to see a mean retriever... that's abuse, by the way.

  • I feel bad for Molly!!! R.I.P molly!!!

  • Pitbulls and other large breed dogs are "HARMLESS IF LOVED". And thats a FACT!!!

  • im planning to get a rottwieler mix but im in vietnam so i gotta wait till i get back to vietnam. A lot of stray dogs out in vietnam its heart breaking that some are mega thin. My uncle owns like 3 days 2 adults and 2 puppies now and their getting skinny. He has like 3 sons and a baby boy and some uncles and his big family and little food O.O

  • Right on Bro,, good words. Well spoken!!

  • what song is that?? please respond

  • Wow your rotey is hugggggggggggge but so cute and adorable I use to be afraid of them because everyone else told me how bad they are know I know better thought I always thought they were adorable even when I was afraid of them I no logner am pitbulls or rottys its usualy the owner who decides what the dog is like LD great vedio!!!!!!!!

  • DAAAAAM!!! your rotty is HUGE

  • Yes she is the new pup is now just over a year old and she weighs 105lbs and stands alittle taller then Cleo. I will be posting a video of her growing up soon.

  • You have very beautiful dogs it is good to know that we have such kind people in this world.

  • Thank you so much for the kind words.

  • cute puppy at like 34 secs

  • Thanks. That is Xena we just received a pup from her litter at Christmas they look exactly the same. Thanks for watching.

  • normally anyything with pit in it turns out to look like a pitbull or a bully type dog, aggression is always tought , yes some mixs can be more dominate and territorial but not agreesive.

  • breeding pitts with rotts is not good thing our town mixed some for police dogs some time back and they had to get rid of them all because they were chewin tires of the police cars lol but i love pitts and rotts both and that was a true story

  • Yay for rescue dogs!

  • I partially agree with Ryden, I don't agree with breeding pitts with other breeds you should not mess with evolution of powerful animals. I do believe they make excellent gaurd dogs no one can get in your house or your property with out being confronted by your pitt first very teritorial. Thats the basis of protecting property and owners.

  • Do you think dogs in the wild would check to make sure the other dog is the same breed before humping them. Breeds we all know today were created.

  • lol yea bro.. all the pit bull breads you see today are man made.. so starting a new breed from rottweilers is no big difference. And most all dogs today prob in the 90% range were all man made breading.

  • exactly, purebreed dogs are known to have health issues becuase of inbreeding to make them all look perfect. I'd rather my rottie be mixed and not get bad hips by 8

  • My rottie's a rottie/pit mix and perfectly healthy. Our purebred akc beagle on the other hand is sickly and we might have to put her down soon.

  • i don't agree with anything that mix pitbull, as a pitbull lover, when you mix a pit with a different breed if not trained properly the dog can become very aggressive, a purebred colby and razors pit that are usually friendly and usually are the ones that get stolen once mix with something else then human aggression is introduce to the blood which a lot of pit breeder fought to eliminate from their line, pits are too friendly not a great watchdog or guardog, unless its protecting u fr anotha dog

  • Do you believe dogs can be naturally agresssive? I disagree that mixing breeds causes agression. I own a pitbull rottie and have had no problems with agression or any sort of training, he is an easy going and lovable boy.

  • My friend has a Pit Rott. He wieghs about 130 they are very aggresive, and even though he is so well trained that it dosn't even eat before you tell it to. It almost ate one of her boyfriends lol

  • Comment removed

  • nice mix, i wonder what a pitt and Golden Retriever look like, i had this dog it was so it was probably about 4 mixed but it had the a nice head shape and big eyes and tall big boned, he had it all

  • I really like your whole Rott-Pit mix or just "agressive breed" stereotype oppinion. The weird thing is, I went on here to just see how my lil girl is going to grow up to look. I have an 8 mo old Rott-pit mix...CLEOPATRA, Cleo for short! Weird huh, guess we knew they would be lil princesses! She is sooo sweet and gets along well with all other animals and people. But I have had it where people actually run from her. REALLY!!!?!? well if they only knew. its there loss! Good video.

  • Thank you so much for your response TurtleButter07. Cleo is a purebread Rotti and Hannah is a Queensland Heeler and pitbull mix they are our love and they love people. They will attack if they feel that we are to be harmed anyway but they are loving dogs to everyone. I have been doing presentations about these animals all over Ontario and people dont realize that these animals are not what the media or people make them out to be. Remember its the not the animals fault but the fault of the owner.

  • I completely agree with you.. to many people now buy certain breeds and train them in the wrong way giving the dog a bad name, when it is the person that should be given a bad name. I have a Rottweiler/Husky cross and he is a wonderful pet. Unfortunatley because of his breed and piercing blue eyes, some people cross the road when I walk him although he wouldn't hurt a fly. (Unless I was under threat, ofcouse). Your dogs are great and sorry to hear about your cat :(.

  • Thank you so much originalmumma. It is sad that people treat these beautiful creatures with cruelty and disrespect.

  • I had a rottie pit mix that was that never would of hurt a person he did more to change peoples perception of rotties than anything else

  • Thanks for your response Hellaciousoutlaw Cleo is a purebred rottie and Hannah is a Queensland heeler and pit mix. I hope oneday people will realize that what makes an animal is the people that own them. Our dogs are absolutely great with people but dont get me wrong if someone does something to hurt my wife or I Cleo and Hannah will attack. Wouldnt you do something when someone attacks someone you love?

  • so cute

  • Thank you antwon903. I just wanted to make a point to people and make them aware that animals (dogs) are part of a family and if they are raised with love they will return it 100 folds more.

  • thad rottweiler you callcu it looks like a gangster dogg man

  • I want to thank everyone that have posted a comment. I know there are some that posted negative ones but we are not to judge ones personal feelings but try to understand the opinions no matter how bad they are. All I ask for is that everyone out that that own any dog or animal please treat them with respect and love cause really that is the only thing these creatures are looking for. Thanks again everyone and please keep in touch.

  • what is the name of that song?

  • Thank you jk2ride for this beautiful video as a response to my video. Your babies are absolutely beautiful. I have the 2 rotts and a lab, shepard mix. I like them better than I do most people. I saw the ridiculous comment above to you. I get those all the time and I try to answer as you do. I can only saw, where in the world would we be without animals. No matter what kind it is. Thanks again my friend. I appreciate it very much.

  • i love dis video so much . i love the part when cleo was nose to nose wit that other dog reminds me of true love lol

  • Thanks brownbunny we were actually dog sitting the brown dog for the weekend. It just shows that Rotweillers are not what people make them out to be. Thanks for the comment and I hope you enjoy our other videos.

  • I will enjoy those other videos too. well its not the animals its the owners true. just like pit bulls are not like wat the ppl think too they are very sweet and carring . dogs are just like ppl they need to be shown the right way to go and dats only wit love and patients and. wit those kisses that let them know u care lol.

  • i love all these dogs just not as much as the ones i have

  • That is great to hear. Just keep loving them and in return they will show you their unconditional love. Thanks for you response. Take care.

  • what a great video, very touching guys,,, and i dont have to be polite roncadello. obviously you are a very ignorant man and the only thing on this page that i can see thats GOOD FOR NOTHING is your comment jackass

  • We are adopting a one yr old Rottie from my cousin today ^^

You said that dogs should not be used as weapons,we love our doggies very much(we have 2 outside dogs on 5 acres of land)we need them incase of burgalars or trust passers(which has happened a bit).Does that classifey as animal weapondry,or do you mean like people useing them to fight in dog fights and what not?

  • Thank you for your question. I have to admit when we rescued Cleopatra I she impressed me when she had stopped two burgalars from breaking into our house when I was on the road. My wife said that she has never seen such determination from an animal. She was protecting her family. I truely believe dogs will do that automatically but I dont agree with people that train their dogs to attack just anyone or fight. I see nothing wrong with your motive just love the dogs. Rotti is a great breed to love

  • I dont know if my last comment went through so I figured I would send you another. Your intentions are fine. Cleopatra will attack if she feels that me or my wife is in danger and she has protected my wife from two burgalars two weeks after we go rescued her. So I have nothing bad to say about what you want Rottis are great protectors and I am glad you are taking one into your homes. I am against those that train dogs to attack just anyone or fight. These creatures deserve love.

  • My dad said that they are just like kids, the way you raise them is the way they will be.(I already knew this, butI think places that starting to ban them as Canada is pit bulls, should take that into consideration)

We,ofcoarse, have no intentions of raiseing her in a violent manner.

She was raised inside,so she will be an inside dog.

    Thank-you for replying ^^

  • I really dont know how to reply to your comment in a polite and respectful way. But if that is what you think than that is your decision, but I dont need to hear shit like that and neither does anyone else that love these creatures. Thanks

  • I dont know what your reason are. People that love animals DONT HAVE PERSONALITY PROBLEMS. You have to remember that animals do help the human population, etc. seeing eye dogs, dolphins for the handicap, dogs and cats in hospitals to help lower blood preasure in victims, police dogs, I could go on. I am not knocking your personal opinion but I think maybe you should realize how important animals can be in a humans life and the contact that they do have effects us all in someway of life.

  • You're a massive dumbass

  • Ones opinion is ones opinion. Dont mean crap considering who it came from.

  • Sorry, I was replying to a troll. This youtube comment thing really confuses me.

  • why are you watching dog videos if you don't like dogs?

  • I loved that, I have a picture of my son with our rottie if you want to use it. I can't do what you done so pictures are there if you want them

  • I just did another video with your son and his rottweiler in it hope you enjoy.

  • awsome vid we have a rot to she rocks and whoever says they are vicoious is wrong cause her playmate is a 5 month old yorkie

  • Thank you branman2794. I truly believe Rottis and other breeds are judged on size and looks. I am so glad to see and hear from so many dog lovers. I have trained dogs since I was 16 and found that Rottis are the easiest and very intellegient. Thank you again and keep on loving these beautiful creatures keep in touch and I hope you like the further videos I will be posting.

  • this vid needs to get an honor. awesome vid man

  • Thank you very much Qlayer. They are our babies we are looking to rescue another Rotti pup. Its a shame that people treat these creatures badly and with cruely. Hope you enjoy further videos I will be doing.

  • It really is, im glad you guys are rescuing another Rotti, can't wait to see it in your future vids

  • Nice pictures! Thanks for capturing the 'LOVING' side of your Pit and Rotti. I also have a Rott., who was dumped because the previous owners couldn't handle him. With alot of training and patience ... he is PHENOMENAL! Just as loving as your guys ... Loves people, other dogs, cats, kids... he is a blessing! (i recently posted a couple videos on my page ... they're not that great though)

  • Thank you for your comment. I am so glad to hear that you took the time and patience and love that these most adorable animals really crave for. Keep up the good work and I will be posting more videos in the near future.

  • Thank you very much for making a video response to the Real Rottweiler. You did an excellent job and I am honored that you chose a video of mine. Your babies are absolutely beautiful. Sorry for your loss of Molly. She looked very well loved. They all do. The Rotties and I say thank you again.

  • Your video was too cute. I wanna hug your babies, because they are too adorable.

I agree with you on your closing comment. It is the owner that makes the dog mean.

I have two dogs that are deemed mean or dangerous by the public. They are no where mean at all. People just have to gett to know them.

  • Thank you very much for your response. I am so glad that you enjoyed the video. Our puppies are our kids and we love them with all our hearts. It is so nice to hear from a fellow dog lover and keep on loving them. They deserve it and in return they will show you unconditional love back. Cleo and Hannah say thanks also and they would hug you in return.
