  • I just found out the results of the "story" you told. your lies have caused much trouble. I am wondering what I should do about it? hanging and quartering are tooo good for you.

  • Awesome! Love the birds! Richard makes it a blast to be out and about tracking 'em down! He keeps it fun and exciting for those new to birding -- to get them excited and hopefully hooked! We need more people to care about birds, to want to conserve their habitats. Hopefully people will begin to notice all the bird life around them! Best of luck on this show -- would love to see it!

  • Excellent! Bring it on!

  • Great idea and entertaining to watch. I'm not a fan of the title though... it is too vague for a show specifically about birds.

  • I hope you are not using unnecessary gas to follow birds, who may be hurt by the unnecessary green-houses gases cause by the use of that gas.

  • Good stuff, but watch more NONGAME BIRD TELEVISION by clicking on my username!!! PLEASE!

  • Wonderful video! Thanks for doing this! It would certainly change a lot of people's ideas about what birding is all about, and would introduce birds to a whole new audience. Richard's photography is gorgeous. I love his enthusiasm, his warmth, and his style. Let's hope Animal Planet picks up on this great concept!

  • Great Idea, Good concept.!!!

but start thinking about coming to the Tropics.

In Panama City, Panamá we can beat any city in North America.

  • I think this would be a great way to entise people who aren't as into birds that they'd want heaps of info on each one, but just want to get a feel for the nature around them. I think with a longer show it wouldn't have to be as rushed and i'd love to see the end result. I'd deffinitely watch it for the entertainment value.

  • this is a good idea bit it left me feeling i learned nothing He did not come off as really wanting to educate his watchers. He told me Nothing about the species he was seeing. I never did get up close views of some of the birds seen or told anything about them. still not sure what parrots he saw? SLOW down Pull in the watcher . I watch a LOT of animal shows Love learning and I love watching birds and have a habitate outside to watch them . This needs work

  • Nice, but watch more NONGAME BIRD TELEVISION by clicking on my user name.

  • This appears to be a promotional video about richard crossley, which is not a surprise if you know anything about this guy. Make it less about Crossley and more about birds then you might have something.

  • I like the "race" aspect of the show. Perhaps the show could end with a segment devoted to photos or videos of the species found in each area so the viewer can digest what was seen at a slower pace. Great idea and host.

  • I'm loving this show. What a great way of building awareness of local bird diversity! Make sure you complete the survey too - that could be what gets this show on the air.

  • I recognized Dan and Jon but not the chick birder... want to see how well the two teams stacked up against each other! Come to the Kern River Valley... no city but plenty of birds!

  • This is awesome! I hope this gets produced, I'd watch every day! Wish I had thought of it. This guy makes the birding chase as exciting to the viewer as it is for me when I'm 'hunting' them. Great new way of looking at the urban and animal world. Love the parrots and the hummingbirds!

  • Great idea beautiful photography and good narrative. A slower pace would fit better as bird watching is enjoyed for the freshness of the outdoors and enchantment of nature not to race about missing the beauty around you.

  • What a marvelous idea!

As mentioned by 'The SometimesWhy' poster, perhaps the franticness & 'racing about' will take away from what might be a great way to see various species of birds in an urban setting.

Learning a bit about the Birds would be interesting . I wonder how they manage around buildings & people. I 'd plan on watching every telecast!

  • Love The Shorebird Guide and would love to watch this show!

  • Hit Florida and see all the naturalized nonnatives. They are spectacular. Then the natives! WOW.

  • best reality show ever.

  • This is a neat idea. I would watch this show, definitely! Be sure to come down to the Texas Rio Grande Valley to "shoot" the chachalacas, green jays, red-crowned parrots and green parakeets that live here.

  • This is an awesome video I love it... can you tell i definetely cant get enough!!!!

  • cool

  • really great!! i loved it!

  • It's cool.. I like it.

  • personally, i could do entirely without the race aspect of the show as proposed here. this is a really great idea for people to come to a deeper understanding of the cities they live in by learning about the many different birds that live there.

    well done!

all the best and then some,

    michael

  • "There is nothing like this in the rest of North America!" He ought to visit Telegraph Hill and Ferry Park in San Francisco and see if it isn't so!

  • And the lower Rio Grande Valley, where at least the parrots in question are near-natives.

  • and whittier, ca

  • Cool
