In the 50's, Pop was Swing/Vocal music.

In the 60's it was Rock&Roll based.

In the 70's it was the disco-funk.

In the 80's it was New Wavish.

In the 90's, Pop was the ultimate dance music along with Modern Mainstream Rock.

And in the 00's, it was Rap-Pop.

Lilly Allen has written some of her own songs while others are cowritten because that's the way it works nowadays. I wouldnt portray all artists as no talents really. Some artists choose to have a broad audience so they can do what they love for a living which always comes with a price. It's very normal to allow involvment of people who invested in you.

I don't even enjoy her music, but some of her lyrics are pretty decent and unique so let's thank her for making mainstream music less dull.
