  • Hard to believe this is 20 years old....damn I feel old...i was 18 when this came out fresh outta high school!!!

  • ive been looking for this song forever. thanks for posting. havent heard in forever

  • Ultra cool band!

  • pure moon shine

  • Love, love, love them!

  • awesome song. love it

  • though they never hit the big - we all know who kicked ass

  • @Dkpare agreed!

  • Saw this band live at Rocky's in Charlotte, NC. Had to be '92 or '93.

  • wow Geoff I love!!!!!! this song

  • I had this on cassette back in 92. Wish it would be re-issued with those few tracks they were working on for their unfinished 2nd album.

  • I saw these guys live at the Roxy... I got their LP from a friend and immediately needed more... I could not believe the three piece pull off that sound live. Blew my socks off!!!

  • Wow--it's refreshing to hear so many ppl agree with what I felt over 10 years ago. I got 2 songs by this band on a compilation cassette called "Concrete Corner," from World's Records in Albany, NY. It featured several metal bands, like Kyuss, Pro-Pain, and Steelheart, etc. Thanks for sharing!

  • Wasn't this guy a student of Satriani or Via?

  • Yeah, Jeff Tyson was taught by Satriani.

  • @joey13lavery One of the only two to 'graduate' from Joe alongside Vai.

  • this whole album is fucking incredable i cant find it at all it was given to me by my ma when i was lil

  • Totally awesome!

  • these guys are amazing what happend?

  • They spent 4 years recording the album, and 3 weeks after they released it grunge happened and killed hair metal. Luckily for them, they'd invested their advance in a record studio.

  • no doubt ..incredle vocals and instrumental perfection

  • RIGHTEOUS!!! THis was a GREAT band!!!!

  • Great music. T-Ride is unbelievable!!!

  • Geoff sent me an unreleased track a few months ago, just after e-mailing him. Fucking awesome. Cool guy to respond to an anonymous fan. These guys were so amazing. Geoff is still rocking out as is Eric Valentine, from what I understand on the producing side. Can't say enough great things about them.

  • I forgot about this band. I wore out this cassette.. twice...back in the day. I tried and tried to spread the word. No one would listen. Absolutely awesome band. What a shame.

  • most original band i ever heard next to F.N.M., I MISS THOSE DAYS

  • Good stuff, spoogee. One of my favorites. Wish Napster would add this. I couldn't even get it off Kazaa.

  • One of the few bands that were around at the tail end of "hair metal" that had their own identity. It's not even fair to put them into that category. I saw them open for Saigon Kick at L'Amour. What kick ass show that wss.

  • Awesome band!

  • thanks spooge hadnt heard this one in ages f'n spooge rocks!

  • Probably one of the most underrated bands ever. Not a single song on their CD sucks. Just pulled it out and listed to it again today... ...after probably 10 years, and once again, I can't stop playing it.

  • Just unbelievable. I would only dream of ever been able to play like this. T-Ride deserve to be on top.

  • Tyson is a monster. I remember reading an interview from 'Guitar for the Practicing Musician' back in the day and thinking he had a bit of an ego.

Later when a friend played me this CD I understood why.

16 years later it's still one of my all-time favs.

  • Did they ever make a video of the song, "You and Your Friend"? Gawd that song ROCKED!

  • oh my god, kick ass tune from back a few... excellent band.

  • This song still gives me goosebumps...

  • I love this album. Love the harmonies, the groove is very original.

According to a Jeff Tyson (guitarist) interview, the two others hate each other. he speculated they would never resolve their dispute (egos & pride). It also took about 3 - 5 years to make this album. If it was released in 1989 when it was due... they would have cleaned up. Hands down. I have the disc and will never part with it.

  • this was my fav cd when i was 15,guess what its still up there,t ride holy shit i love it xXx

  • this band just destroys almost anything else released in the 90's save for Winger Pull and Images and Words.

the production is disgustingly uber, and the grooves are sensational. completely original band, absolute A+. I remember my band all loved these guys and were horribly disappointed not to see them live and even worse, no follow up.

  • the mighty ride!! Since I've only seen this CD in the shops ONCE (when I bought it in 93), I've made several copies of it and distributed it to my friends. even my DAD loves this, for crying out loud!

  • Awesome Song !!!

  • I have this CD and I will never part with it!!

  • Thanks for this- they're such a great band it makes you wonder about the flocking to grunge.

  • Saw them twice in '92 in Buffalo. Decent band...guitarist Jeff Tyson even showed me a few riffs.
