what a freakshow. i find it funny too that they served him short to try to take him out of the offense//at least out of system... didn't work out as planned.
budinger made the right choice to play ball, then go for volleyball. you make millions and you get more hype, and on top of that, its a great sport, not that volleyball isn't
what was more impressive was that nice pass from Budinger. He's an all-around player in volleyball and could've been the greatest of all-time had he picked volleyball.
theres passion and there is life... Even if he was lucky enough to become a professional volleyball player... He wouldn't make the amount of money he would make playing in the NBA... and in the scouting reports he is going to be drafted in the 1st round meaning guarenteed millions. Passion doesn't put food on the table and take care of the family.. Money does.
intresting comment and i agree but the thing is his passion turned out to be basketball and btw you can go overseas to europe and make 300 000 a year on pro volleyball and i know its less then millions but you dont need millions to put food on the table......lol or maybe his REALLY hungry
Well for example randleman2.. If you do something your passionate for and your making ONLY 30k a year and you have a wife and child to support.... Go ahead and be happy, while your child and wife live a below standard life(well what I see as below standard) OR make 60k doing a job that you may dislike, but being happy that your wife and child are living a GOOD life.. Also, are we not in a recession and money and job security play a big role today.... Chase has such a great opportunity
yeah but chase is looking at a ton of money and a game that he likes versus almost a ton of money and a game that you like almost as much so...it doesnt matter what you pick, you'll still be fking rich
don't have a lot of money by i guess your ignorant standards but have a decent house that is safe and clean. I eat well and I do what I like. No complaints, thanks for asking.
if you have good friends and family, train hard, love what you do, live in a nice place, then i think those standards are more than plenty. Unless your standards revolve around other materialistic needs and what not, then those are yours not mine.
@Randleman2 Your right those are my standards, but do not call them ignorant as I understand your standards. Friends, family and so forth, some people like myself and others like Expensive and luxurious things and if you find that to be "ignorant" so be it. I hope you live a prosperous life.
i heard chase will bestupid enough to choose volleyball as a career over basketball, also heard that he turned down a 35 million dollar deal with addidas
well, in financial wise, i can see why he chose basketball and if i were him, i would do the same.
and i dont think he turned a $35million dollar deal. i dont think he is big enough and not nationally recognized yet. maybe in the NBA and if he was all-star status, but he still plays college, but he is above average.
last year if he would have came out, addidas offered him a shoe contract. well 35 million is nothing compared to what durant( 60 million dollar shoe contract), and others
but what if he injured himself, he would be screwed
what a freakshow. i find it funny too that they served him short to try to take him out of the offense//at least out of system... didn't work out as planned.

What league is this? The setter sucks and the middle blocker on the othe team fails to close, even though the set is painfully obvious.

@whomiketrann Obviously, because volleyball's an obscure sport here. But on another note, I watched him play in this game, he had 20 kills.

They all were probably "chasing" the budinger too

Chase is an absolute beast. Too bad we'll never see him become the greatest volleyball player of all time due to his commitment at Arizona.
