  • The Egyptians did have a monotheistic phase, but it didn't last long. I wish monotheism would have lasted as long on the whole.

  • Just makes you wonder how impartial and objective these "studies" are when every sponsor is a fundamentalist christian?

  • @gamesbok are you SERIOUSLY trying to claim the Egyptians were monotheist??? That's like trying to claim that the pagan ROMANS were monotheist! Now, THERE's a joke! Lol!

  • @macgeek2004 They believed in one God i.e. Amon Ra but they did not stop others from believing in their gods nor did they discredit others beliefs. Then came Akhenaten who was a STRICT monotheist. Do research.

  • Anybody else find it EXTREMELY fucked up how it says "Major Funding by...Exxon Mobil...And *David H. Koch*?!?!" I mean, doesnt anybody find that just a LITTLE disturbing??!?

Of, course...wait a minute...DAVID FUCKING KOCH FUNDING PBS&NPR?!?! WTF!!! DECIDE WHAT ORGANIZATIONS YOU FUCKING HATE ALREADY TEABAGGERS! lol!

  • @macgeek2004 Yea, when I read 'funding by Exxon' alarm bells were ringing! (I don't know Koch, or the other funders). One thing is sure, whoever forced the One-He-God-For-All -fiction upon the people as being The Truth For All, has made it possible for World Wide Unbridled Perfidiously Brutal Patriarchy to keep lying through their teeth, to destroy equality of people, to invade, loot, rape, slander polytheistic Pagans and murder them by the millions, to create hell on Earth.

  • 4:48 to start watching the documentary directly.

  • The belief in one God had been common long before the Hebrews. 150 years before Menoptra Egypt had been ruled by Akhenaten, and he wasn't the first.

The Merneptah Stele doesn't actually say Israel, but rather Ysrl, and only as a people, not a state or country, and might even just refer to people in Jazreel valley.

There is no mention anywhere in ancient records of a nation state of Israel.

  • I have a different perspective about yahoo!

    Hmm!

  • Interesting!

  • It's a miracle that we are still here, thank G-d; Our job is to spread light through Ethics, charity, and our spiritual religious growth. Of course, we are human and slip up. That's why we have Divine Instructions how to improves ourselves and grow. A person who's not Jewish can Also connect to G-d by following the 7 noahide laws

  • I do not like the commentators views or the entire view for that matter. It makes a great effort to discredit the bible and to discredit God, Yahweh. I would encourage those of a weak faith not to /watch/listen to this, the devil's work!

  • @spiritsexist Yeah, the sciences have that effect on faith.

  • @spiritsexist Reality doesn't change just because you don't like it. Your comment is typical of the religious mind. Attribute evil intent to those who disturb your cherished beliefs.

  • @spiritsexist haaaaahahaha

  • @spiritsexist ....I used to dislike the way people spoke about God.. I used to be encouraged not to mix or listen to people of other faiths... That was because of Ignorance....

Nowadays, I feel great. I can make decisions based on my own emotions, my own knowledge and my own experience's.. Read your comment again & again & again.. Then tell me you are not trying to, Arse-Lick your way into Heaven ?

  • @1965ajax i do not mind arse-licking my way to heaven thank you.

  • @spiritsexist ? wtf are you talking about. if u watch the whole two hour show they show ways how the bible are completely true. well atleast the old testiment through artifacts and history of egyptians and babylonians.

  • @DXspirit I don't think that is what they do. They show a historical basis in which the fantastical tale that is the old testament may have come from.

  • wow

  • Judaism is a wicked religious concept which sprouted out Christianity and Islam both are blood thirty.

  • Zoroastrianism was the belief that gave the world a belief in one god, not judiasm.

  • the bible or Chumash (5 books ) were written long before the destruction of the 2nd temple.

We received the chumash at sinai, and later Moses wrote

it on 70 pillars before israel entered the Land.

NOT after as suggested in this series.

  • Wicked!
