The rawring branch bridge or whatever didn't get whiped out i went over it and the other bridge didn't get swipped away. By the way when your video taping hold the camera still, i'm only 13 and can film a little better! thanks
I'm a volunteer firemen believe it was not as fun as looked a lot people list homes and special moments of there lives because of this storm but these videos are good to have to back and look at later but u shouldn't be out there during this time it's very dangerous......
I live in NH and was just driving through VT Sunday to go to the Rutland Fair and wow the roads are all washed out yards are torn up and several bridges are out absolutely crazy how much damage was caused by what at that point was just a tropical storm.
@blackburst21 I was laughing because I was shocked to see what happened. Obviously I wasn't happy that so much damage occurred, but I had never seen a hurricane before, so I didn't know how do deal with that. It's not every day you see a car with water up to its roof.
I enjoyed the video. It would have been better if there wasn't so much video of the inside of the car. Next time, maybe pause when you're changing locations, and eliminate the sound of the rewinding or forwarding. For those people leaving their comments about this family being heartless and disrespectful towards those directly effected by the hurricane, next time you're driving around and see an accident, don't slow down traffic because you need to see what happened. Get of the road and look.
You are the worst camera guy I've ever seen. Learn how to hold a camera upright, and focus less on your feet. I suffered through all 10 minutes trying to see the damage to my hometown and now feel like vomiting. Thanks.
Hey thanks for the tour! I know you guys...I went to Bennington and housesat your house-- you guys were little kids! say Hi to you mom, its shandoah...
@lypunkdud20 I used to help a kid housesit whose initials were EK- the house was in the boondocks part of shaftsbury up above meyers rd, kind of near rollen matteson rd etc- the part of shaftsbury thats in between N Bennington and NY... anyways I grew up in Bennington proper and its flipping crazy to see some of the damage... I used to use that footbridge behind Mcdonalds all the time, bet its gone now... ps I think your camera work was fine, I could always tell where you were
@lypunkdud20 Yep typical little nouveau riche prick. Mommy and daddy got all the money and you get all the perks except education. It would be they're called not there called you little asshole. Too bad mother nature didn't thin the herd out and wash you imbeciles away.
@bnsaints first of all, if you could be a little more constructive with your criticism i'd appreciate it. where's the mistake? and if you think i'm just a retard, why the fuck did you watch this?
@lypunkdud20 i see it now. whatever. u think messing up my spelling because i was doing a cursory job in a youtube comment makes me an imbecile? i'm not an aristocrat; my parents have money but i'm not an idiot. i'm taking AP courses at my highschool. i take it your 23 and live with your mother.
@lypunkdud20 I watched it at first thinking it would be video of the devastation in VT in particular since my wife works there. What I saw was a little asshole being driven around by his bigger asshole mother, acting is if they were out for a little jog. You were wearing slippers for christ sake, the whole care of you imbeciles laughing and screaming completley unprepared if something caught you and completly disrespectful of the situation. And in answer to your question
@bnsaints i said i found the mistake. and I'm sorry i was surprised by a hurricane. i've never had one near my house before. those shoes i wear for everything now. how can you judge me or my family by a 10 minute video? i laughed cause i was shocked. it's not very often you see a car underwater. as a matter of fact i was unprepared, because i've never in my life experienced a hurricane, since they rarely hit VT. it's like when florida got 1 inch of snow and the whole state shut down.
Great pictures, but when you walk, maybe pause the camera instead of upside down shots. Made me ill. But thanks anyway, my aunt used to live just outside Bennington.
that was silk road and the bridge survived both made it through the storm, the old adage they don't make it like they used to comes to mind
