Have you guys considered playing in Honolulu, Hawaii? They have a September block party every year.....Much open to Christian bands there, lots of talent.....I bet you could just call a downtown Marriott or Hyatt, and they would let you play on the street. Big festival time there....Keep the music coming...Your audience is currently on youtube.

Thanks bud, I appreciate that, & I found a good answer on Wiki: I believe that for music to be considered holy, and therefore fit for the ears of a Christian, the lyrics and the melody have to both harmonize with the Scriptures. That is to say, that unless the lyrics are as upright as the melody, which both should reflect our Savior without any lee way for the world, it could very well be considered as sin.

I am the producer of these works, and I couldn't agree more - additionally I lay down all the instruments and backing vocals; the only thing that is not directly influenced by me is the lead vocal. That being said, it would be a blessing to have an actual producer; one that is not self-taught and who was not the recording engineer (also me, also self-taught) or the musician(s) (also self-taught).

But we have a budget of zero; we record in basically a shed out back of my place; we use an old PC running Cakewalk Sonar and I just try to put it together as best I can. I do not, however, settle. Every one of these songs is constantly scrutinized, remixed, re-performed and 'adjusted'. I am a perfectionist but have no clue as to how to get there; a full time job precludes me from attending producer school and this is just a hobby at the root of it all.
