In signing in Franken, Pawlenty risks losing the primaries. In not signing, his approval ratings drop even lower and he risks losing the general election by a landslide. Signing Franken and losing a primary allows him to run independent where his chances are best. But the longer he waits, the lower his ratings drop.
Since Minnesota cannot seem to figure out who won, I suggest appointing Rose Nylund. It is my understanding that St. Olaf residents are in need of fuel subsidies for their gas-powered televisions.
Good commercial. Pawlenty knows that if he certifies Franken's win he'll be dead in a GOP primary in 2012, as his opponents won't let up about him giving the Democrats 60 seats in the Senate, especially now that Arlen Specter switched parties. Funny thing is, if he would have signed the damn thing before Specter switched he could have at least mitigated some damages. This, combined with his horrific, and falling, approval ratings in MN spell certain doom for his national ambition...
You can stick a fork Coleman and Pawlenty. Proof that the GOP's ham-fingered political maneuvering is devolving into intraparty posturing and backstabbing.
The MN legislature put medical marijuana on Tpaw's plate. He'll veto the legislation but I think the stuff has a useful place in pharmacopia, especially when you think of the dangers and side effects of synthetic drugs. Too many patients attest to its value to dismiss it due to fear and failure.
omg, it's one of those dimwits who was lame enough to buy the extremo-right-wing acorn crap, and still hasn't got brains enough to leave it behind when it's been completely debunked.
They do not hate America as much as Bush and his allies, who misled us into Iraq, Afghanistan and left behind the BIGGEST national debt of any previous Conservative Administration. It is time ge get our Party back and send all the self-contradicting BASTARDS currently in charge of the GOP!!!
...send all the self-contradicting BASTARDS currently in charge of the GOP!!! >> to Afghanistan. Send all the repub apologists too. Send the bush supporters, the McSame supporters, and the idiotic "Palin For Prez" voters to Iraq and Afghanistan, and bring our troops home.
