  • If a horse is very close to people, does it still work to do join-up?..

  • Awwesome!

  • I love Monty's training videos! They have helped me so much with gentling my three mustangs. They are much happier horses than the norm and want to work for you. Monty is awesome!

  • i love montys book, it is amazing. one day when we move our horses to our own field and the menage is built, i will definately try join up with my already loving babys

  • It's amazing how much time a real "trainer" would take to saddle and get a rider on a untrained horse and how much time Monty takes and the differance in the horse and what the horse thinks of people after that!

  • I definitely see that Monty is a huge improvement from how his dad treated and "trained horses" and I believe horses would rather be with Monty, than his father. And I've always liked Monty Roberts round pen.

  • this is amazing !

    5*

  • What's that mark on Rosie's neck?

  • A brand.

I imagine the BLM puts them on every horse they take from the range.

  • It's a Bureau Of Land management Tattoo. Each mustang has a unique tattoo and file created at roundup.

  • Freeze Brand

  • peachy6969 - It's a freeze brand the BLM puts on wild mustangs after they are rounded up for "adoption." I believe the first symbol identifies that the horse is a mustang and the other symbols after that indicate what state it was captured in, the color, etc.

Unfortunately, the BLM has over 30,000 mustangs in holding facilities that have not been adopted and are in danger of being killed because they are too expensive for them to take care of. The BLM still continues to hold roundups.

  • so if you had a horse that was totaly shy of people and never let you catch them and you did join up with that horse, would the horse become less shy of you?

  • bravo bravo bravo maravilloso

  • I love watching monty :)

  • great job!
