Good video but, I really wonder if tourism should be allowed to Antarctica. It is really an unspoiled by mankind. There are several "I got to go!" type comments from this video. Please, stay home. More tourists, more pollution, more problems.

@reniam I see where you are coming from on that, but I personally think if there is a bit of tourism, kind of like this; little rafts going out to see whales, that is certinately not harming anything. And if you do without all the gift shops and eateries it would be perfectly fine. Plus, i think tourism like that makes people more aware of places like this so there is more incentive to protect it.

That is just an amazing video. I'm heading to Antarctica in 3 weeks (my second trip) and hoping for some sights like that. All of your videos are amazing, and really capture the atmosphere and feeling of the place.

Yes, a friend of mine in the same zodiac, actually touched one of them. Being so close to them was such an exciting experience. I noticed the strange smell of their breath as well as those high frequency sounds.

I bet that was amazing! my dream one day is to touch a whale. I am going to canada soon and we are going Whale watching with killer whales but when i have a gap year i am going out there for a year and working with the boats that go out and then train to kayak with them so maybe my dream will come true!!!!
