I like to think that as time goes on, Bender matures and no longer needs to act like he does in the movie to feel secure. :)

I never get tired of this movie, because it's true. It was then, it is now. Sure, some things show it's age, but the types are all there and will always be there. It's a real shame that we all turn on each other (most anyway) when we're out of that place/room that brings us together for a little while. It's a real shame we don't realize that we could do better than so many so-called parents or predatory peers, if we bothered to try.
