Your guitar playing is wonderful, but many others have used this technique in the past. I would say you discovered it yourself, which is cool, but ya didn't invent it. Go watch Jaco Pastorius play. He used the exact same technique to bend harmonics on his fretless...as did about 30 other guitar players, electric and acoustic.
Cool! So you discovered the technique as well! I've been playing with this particular type of harmonic bend roughly since 1995, during which time I've never seen anyone else do it. But I could easily believe that someone else may have discovered it independently (I guess you're just such a person). But, Since I never ran into anyone else who bent harmonics using this method, I assumed that I had "invented" it. However, given the precision involved, I don't think it would be "easy to invent"
I've tried it hammering and bending right over the fret, and right behind the fret, but it never crossed my mind to hammer over the fret (on the node) and then slide it back behind the fret for the actual bend. Very informative vid.
Next time you should discuss the importance of the eyebrows!
