Schiff is an idiot. His description of the housing bubble is just plain wrong and misleading, which seems to be his usual tactic. His assertion about productivity is just laughable, as is his earlier statement about the US not having production capacity and Americans spending their money on imports because of it. That's simply bullshit, and provably so.

According to him inflation rates mean nothing, CPI means nothing, everything means nothing, because he says so. What a pompous idiot.
