  • LIES - LIES-----LIES--------LIES-------LIES Do not believe one word he says. This Abhisit Vejjajiva (democrat party ACTUALLY ARMY PARTY) NEVER WON ELECTION , he was hand picked by the king. ABHISIT VEJJAJIVA was the CREIMINAL HIMSELF WHO IS BEHIND ALL THE KILLING - INNOCENT RED SHIRTS - MESSACRE IN 2009 AND 2010.

  • I can't imagine if Yingluck came to this tv program...

she would cry for sure haha

  • It's about time that the Thai people were confronted about important issues. I've been in Thailand for seven years and in my opinion the Thais are a very childish and self centered race. You all need your arses kicked like Abhisit did on HARADTALK. Good on you the BBC

  • baan nok people are Thai people they are our brothers and sisters but are sometimes mislead by political figures in their area. Which is pretty fucked up. That needs to be changed. Thailand is a great country with great Kings and visionaries but many French, English, western powers wanna dominate us so they are the ones who needs to take a step back.

  • He did his best. Keep going Mr. Abhisit and Thai people.

  • Mr thaksin paying to protester? let mi ask u this then why on earth thailand pay army for? think my brother and sister. now i in s'pore i always wanted to go back home (thai) but now thailand full of debt! i better to be in s'pore safe pls think do u all want thailand to be like this? drugs and rape now alot compare to last time Mr thaksin was still serving . GOD will bless Mr thaksin like GOD blessed ISREAL THE HEAD OF THAILAND AND Abhisit will be under Mr thaksin feet he will win . AMEN!

  • Thai are very smart to elected ABHISIT , We are glad that he is out Thai PM . Abhisit why are you answer this rude bitch , You should kick her in the ass and boot her out of Thailand .

  • @asianr0se anger control for you. You bet Abhist knows how kill the opposition. You do not need to rewrite history, block the internet, shoot reporters, sensor the BK Post and The Nation, be condemned by International Human Right or assonate generals you have a Prime Minister that has already done that. Funny even the Arabs have figured out how get rid of criminal leaders. Maybe Thailand will one day

  • election in thailand when abhisit stay prime minister never because she think election for what because thai people she idiot because she not vote for democrat

  • everibody about t is can stay first minister in the world because im part of the people and i vote for me i stay elected by the people

  • what he said is non-sense.

  • What he said is non-sense(bull sh_t).

  • The PAD were far more terrorist, yet they were rewarded.

  • Zeinab Badawi hit the nail on the head by asking the hard question of whether Thai PM Abhisit would call an election immediately because he was never democratically elected as PM by the Thai people in the first place. Now on hindsight, after 82 people (mostly redshirts) have killed in the recent army crackdown, the world knows this man will do anything to cling onto his PM pst, including agreeing to the killing of his own people.

  • my PM Abhisit Vejjajiva .he born to shiting + killing Thai-people.the lier, bull hair. .

  • HARD TALK Please invite Mr.Taksin to be in the program that will be a highest rating one.

  • What made him decide to give interview? Did he think he's going to come out of this interview smelling like roses?!!! What an idiot!

  • Samak and Somchai were elected to be PM the same as PM abhisit.

Red shirts never brought up this issue. They say his selection to PM is undemocratic, but their own proponents were selected the same way. Thai citizens don't vote for the PM, but we vote for representatives who will vote for the new government.

  • @SockEater555 As formal way of thai democratic system, your comment is true. But almost of thai people always vote for the PM, please check your information again.

  • @9Bahts that's why all people who think they vote for PM need to be told that they dont vote for PM.

  • The reds have a point that Thaksin was unlawfully taken out of power. Thaksin was probably the only smart one who saw the potential of brainwashing farmers to do his will. It's Thailand's own fault that the previous govs did not give that much notice to the education system - something Rama V has been stressing all along if one is to develop one's self and country. All that has happened for the past 70 years is FDI with no means to develop the people within the country - that why it's like this

  • You people who keep complaining that this lady is so rude....that is what Hard Talk is. They MAKE you answer the question whether you like it or not. You are so used to being "kreng jai" to everyone. This is the kind of anchor you need in Thailand, so those corrupt people know that it is NOT ok to rape the land.

You Bangkok people, the ones commenting on here, look down so much on the "baan nok" people. When westerners see Thailand, they see "Thailand" (these people), not just Bangkok.

  • @utubister I don't share your opinion. Hard Talk should be about asking difficult questions. The concept of "making" you answer is fine but you can do so with dignity. You needn't be rude, if you prepare yourself.

Watch Fareed Zakaria on CNN and you'll see what I mean.

  • Thaksin maybe the best thing that ever happened to Thailand - if the Thais can wake up and learn from this. He was the only PM to be able to complete his term and the only PM to be reelected - no one in the history of Thailand has ever achieved this. What does that tell you about Thai politics?

I see Thaksin as a bitter pill that Thailand needs to swallow down to cure its disease of corruption. Abhisit might be the "spoon full of sugar" that helps this medicine go down.

  • The stun is normal because the delay of signal. You may don't experience from Thaksin phone-in because he never let anybody has a chance to talk back.

  • Even he's not from the most elected party but his party was the 2nd highest member that not very far from the 1st. The attempt of forming up coalition party was done with full competing power and according to the law. His only fault is not being in UDD supported party. Like Thaksin UDD can accept no controversy people or argument. UDD loves to destroy everyone and everything on their way. But !! Don't forget that there's 70% of Thai people are not one of them.

  • well well, a lot of Thaksin's war-room team here ;-)

  • She asked the good question because it's the main problem happened in Thailand. The way he became the PM is not democracy but militarism which blocked the development of thai's democracy since 2475.

  • @9Bahts please do explain...

    from your standard...

Were Samak and Somchai legally selected to be P.M.?

  • She didn't seem to study prior to the interview.

  • abhisit is gay like me from PJ

  • BBC should be well prepared before interviewing someone.

Big name like BBC acted like an onion news.

    they look ashamed...

This bitch was asking too many stupid questions....

She doesn't anything about Thai politics..

for one...he needs about 3 days to understand the simple conflict of Thai political situations.

  • @topbaros

    * doesn't know

  • @topbaros BBC askes PM lies or doesnt actually answer. "You yourself never won an election". I was elected 7 times as an MP BUT BUT BUT BUT never ever as PM and he never will.

  • she's not professional...

    bias question apparently...

  • As you can see, this STUPID show couldn't meet the standard of normal talk shows... There was such a bad sound delay. This, plus the fact that the lady didn't do her homework properly (as all the thais know that this PM was elected legally), have proved BBC to be such a... well, i have got no words to describe.. Personally, I think our priminister did a great job, representing our country. In regard of what i have said, I must admit that BBC has asked some tough questions here...

  • @wioholic This programm is called "Hard Talk" not "Softie Softie Thai Talk". The interviewer gets not selected if she just repeats softie softie Thail talk by this non selected snaky PM of Thailand.

  • @bangboomsplash HaHaHa western people never know of our traditional culture...what a shame :( they act like no one is a human except them and their western friend :( I was wrong that i said that this interviewer was a human she is actually a Wild -Spoiled- Rottweiler Dog who's ready for their poor prey.......

( sorry for my English I speak Thai.)

  • @wioholic Please enlighten me. What is the Thai cultural equivalent for a "Rottweiler" in your vast experience as culturalist? "Yellow Shirt Dog","Red Shirt Dog", "Soldier Killing Fellow Thais Dog" or "Police Mafia Dog"? Your English seems good enough for an intelligent conversation.

  • @wioholic Why not quote the foremost yellow and English speaking government media in Thailand "The Nation" from last Friday. "Resident foreigners in Thailand understand the political situation well; the same cannot be said of all foreign governments and media". Look it up in there website. This one is surely not yet blocked within TH.

  • Comment removed

  • @wioholic No need to argue. Sweet irony wasted.

  • @bangboomsplash ........maybe this women is a Fan Club of Red Shirt the Red Shit and Thaksin the bastard ^0^

  • @wioholic "Chelsea man" that is what I am. You can see right through me. :-) But actually my favourite team plays on the continent, is in the CL final 2010 and NOT managed by a Portuguese super star. At home/heart they are red but in the CL they prefer white or black.

  • Comment removed

  • @wioholic Matter of fact I think the Nation is trash and not worth the paper it is printed on.

  • the anchor is very prejudiced in her interview, focusing only the red shirts' demand. no part of her questions talked about the violence the red shirts created, the rules of laws, anti-red shirt movements, and other incidents. she seemed to have her own hidden agenda. she must have her own political ideas and she clearly mixed them with her questions. and lastly, she was very rude. carefully. not to interrupt and say the it was a long explanation.

BAD ANCHOR and shame on BBC.

  • As Hard Talk always hard talk so if someone can not answer her as well, he will die.

Abhisit can be the prime minister of Thailand because thai military support him which no need any election so he can be the prime minister by never won election. Thailand is in the "Age of Stupid".

  • @9Bahts fucking dumb fucked...

how well do you know the system of Thai election??

    how they vote??

    stop being stupid cow..

it's representatives system of voting P.M.

all in all... all P.M. were elected to be Prime Minister in the system..

for my opinion...I also want to vote lilke American... pick one as the candidate .

  • @topbaros She asked the good quetions because the question can told peoples to know what problems happen in thailand by the way he became the PM which not democracy at all.

PS Keep your "fuck" in your family, do not show me.

  • @9Bahts

Good questions come from good perceptions of Thailand background..

She didn't know anything, she's dumb fucked...and you are fucking twat also..

  • Abhisit's coming into power benefits a particular group of people.

  • most questions are hypothesis assume from what people might been thinking right now. the guest is to clear the hypothesis by giving facts back to the reporter. it just that sometime people are over-sensitive about this. But thats why the programme named Hard Talk not Soft Talk, really

  • this is not the first time that this kind of situation happens in Hard Talk. when reporter trying to ask lead questions to get a clearer answer and they didn't get it and they'll try harder and harder. its not that Badawi is unskilled. it just that many questions in this programme are awkward to answer.

  • And also, the Reds think the court decision that dissolved the People's Power Party was illegitimate - that the same Higher Powers intervened and got the decision they wanted. But again, who knows if such a thing actually happened? It's like a conspiracy theory. But away with this nonsense about Abhisit's gov't being illegitimate b/c it wasn't elected - that's irrelevant and misses the point.

  • A new election was not required in the Thai system. When the ruling party was dissolved, both the Democrats and Thaksin's allies tried to form a new gov't, and the Democrats got the Parliamentary votes to do it. If Thaksin's allies had won the vote, they certainly wouldn't be clamoring now that their new gov't was illegitimate! Their real argument is that Higher Powers (Prem?) intervened behind the scenes to get the votes for the Democrats, but who knows if that's true?

  • @TheZen999

    Rumour is a rumour...who knows?

but voting day was clearly seen on live T.V.

You could see that nobody points the gun to 233 Members of Parliament to

show their hands to vote Abhisit. They were free to vote anyone.

How come it's illegitimate? There were millions of people witnessing that day!!!

  • @topbaros Of course, it's clearly on TV, who too stupid to show people the gun(or hijacking)?

Before voting day, many members had forced to stay in the hotels by some soldiers

for some object. You shuold know that why the next day they voted for compitetor, they suddenly

    love the opposite party?

  • @9Bahts this is the story you have been told or lied to..You just brought it up from your mouth without any evidences to support your comment. I think you'd have a memory injury. Coz I remembered that all M.P.s were threatened by Red-shirt leaders and supporter, then they'd like to stay in safe house instead and you mixed them up to lure other people...what a particular red-shirt you are..stop being "Weng"!!!

  • BBC should do something with this anchor

she is not so smart to do her job.

    BBC should fire her.

  • @spencerelite, what ? you think Abhishit smarter than her.

  • Seriously U don't have to be smart to know who's the good Guy and Who's the BAd guy

Who is trying to make thing better and Who is ruining the Country!!!!

    the Interviewer is so RUDE

  • Too shame of BBC's anchor "Zeinab Badawi"

she is not professional enough to be BBC's anchor ,

She did not do homework before interview , and keep interrupt while the guest answer questions, if she do not want to hear the answer ,so she should not ask

POOR LADY , stop being and anchor , please. This is unacceptable . Bad representative from BBC T T

  • 3/ It gave the opportunity to Khun Abhisit to explain the real situation, and the fact that he was talking so calmly and so precisely while she kept in interrupting him with approximations was very good to create doubts amongst the listeners.

4/ British people already had opportunities to listen to several interviews of Thaksin, they now can easily make the differenceBetween both of them, who was the best (and I even dont talk about the level in English language)

  • @kevino99

" (and I even dont talk about the level in English language)" lol

  • 1/ The journalist have a very poor knowledge of the situation, and misunderstand many things.

2/ Because of 1/, she asked very aggressive questions to Khun Abhisit (easy questions, in fact !)

  • Zeinab Badawi did not do her homework. The main thrust of her argument seemed to be since "People don't want you, you should step down" or words to that effect.

How many people Zeinab? Do you know the population of Thailand? There are 65 million! There are about 30,000 red shirt protesters! Does that in any way, shape or form constitute a majority?

You weren't even sure about how Abhisit Vejjajiva come to power.

Sorry, but certainly not to the high standards I've come to expect from Hard Talk.

  • @Dontheguru 30K demonstrate in representation 50-60% of the Thai population, which live outside a shopping centre called Bangkok. Your homework may not have includes thinking two steps ahead, mathmatics/statistics and recent (election) history. Why do you think the PM is afraid regarding a new election? Because then (quote the current PM) "the vicious circle" will continue by a red government censoring, s-called yellow "terrorists". My suggestion total amnesty plus big coalition to reconsile.

  • @bangboomsplash How do you account for 30,000 representing 50 - 60% of the Thai population? What mathematics are you referring to you?

I'm sorry your argument is flawed in the very first sentence.

  • @Dontheguru "Flawful"? Nope! Wishful thinking? Maybe! 50-60% population was based on churchillesque statistics assuming that the newly elected changed government would be able to achieve past results of democratic elections. Better would be a big coalition that tries to solve this colour coded mess at least for a while. Why not military sponsored? Best of luck to TH otherwise...

  • I would not accept Thaksin either!!

  • just wandering, is this her first interview? or this is just BBC's standard. sorry for curious this but BBC should at least choose someone who knows more about whom she interview the this lady.

  • "than this lady" is what i really meant

  • Sometimes...some side can't accept the truth.

    Please...open-minded ^^

  • The morale of the story is - you could appear stupid even in your very own TV show, when coming in without doing enough homework....

  • he wasn't stunned, there was a sound delay during the interview

  • @pongpera The sound delay was causing confusion obviously. Maybe all the censoring takes away to much bandwidth from Thailand. Or the evil T. was standing on the line.

  • NEGER do u know where you come from???or u neverever research..i dont know why BBC agree to televised this rude interview to a GENTLEMAN LIKE THIS.BBC u need to explain to the world why u agree to this interview, how rude this NEGER.and look herself she think she's pretty and smart, she's look worse than the prostitute in thailand.she dont have the RIGHT to talk like this,i swear she will die soon NEGER of BITCH

  • hey mother fucker NEGER,did your MOTHER WHORE teach CODE OF ETHICS,how much SATAN THAKSIN have pay you,or did he suck your pussy.you NEGER,slave of HUMAN BEING,just shout up and do the reserach,or just be a PROSTITUTE,look yourself in the mirror what u look like\.if u are my maid i will smash you to death.YOU ARE THE MOTHER OF ALL BITCH NEGER

  • This PM is the best (IQ,EQ &moral) Thai PM that I have seen . He has all things that deserve to be the leader particularly in this time. Some of red shirt people they have gotten the distorted information from the TAKSIN and his team so they have misunderstood about Democracy issue and driven to do illegal things. Right now, it is not the time of talking about "How does the PM become the PM?"Please ,understand our situation and help us to move forward.

  • Very good interview and done with professionalism.

I'm sure this lady can't be bought by Thaksin

(or will she be blame again??)....hehehe... so funny

  • @kthananan

Good interview? Which video were you watching? If you've done your homework on Thailand you would see that the interviewer, Zeinab Badawi did not do her homework.

  • I was so surprised to hear such disgrace interview from BBC. It is totally unexpected that she did not do her homework right and correctly. If she does not live or understand our Thai situation at the moment, BBC should consider to change the interviewer. If she is trying to act Hard in Talking, she should do a lot of homework before asking questions and mentioned any names. I think that from her hard in talking, Thai PM had shown his strength and why he should lead the country.

  • The anchor lady sympathize with the plight of the redshirts. She came from a country of true democracy,a country of fair election by and for the people.

  • That whore is stupid,

Seems to inform as Abhisit cause all problems but

it was A FUCKING THAKSIN who is the core for everthing bad in Thailand

  • @TIMMII98 , but remember dud, the yellow SHIT born first. If there were not yellow SHIT, the red shirt wouldn't borned. Only stupid and dumb fuck believe what sonthi and astv said about PM Thaksin. It had been all about lie and accusation.

  • @longliveThaksin It doesn't matter who started, If you think the yellow did wrong, why the red still does things in the same fashion? Just make think worst do you think? DO THE RED EVEN THINK? What do you think about invasion into Jula hospital of the red?

  • @TIMMII98 , about jula hospital, compare to sonthi, Jumlong, Somsack and Saranyu seized the airport, took over goverment house, accused Thaksin insulting the king is still a minor league. Sonthi is using the king to fight against Thaksin.

  • BBC's anchor lack knowledge of Thai politics .

  • As reputation of BBC goes, shouldn't the interviewer started the conversation with the truth rather than the false claim that the PM was choosen by military? That's an insult to Thai election -- like it never took place!! I don't care if you just play rough for your rating.. but at least we talk facts here. Not made up lies. Shame on you, lady!

  • Seems like the BBC's anchor didn't do her homework, I get why she was like that, there's a presenter over called Jeremy Paxman, he's a hard interviewer and argues with his guests etc...she tried to do the same, but she came across rude, bitchy and didn't seems to really know what she talking about....lol

  • totally unacceptable ! low standard .. BBC better study more before asking a lot of stupid questions asked....

  • the interviewer is lack of knowledge of Thai politics.

pls. do more homework in next time

  • This interviewer is clearly out of her depth. She in all parts, ignorance and arrogance. Substance is sorely absent!

  • @winterpluk ---YOU MOTHER FUCKER OF BITCH,YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING OR YOU KNOW BUT YOU ARE JUST A MOTHER FUCKER OF STUPID..KARMA WILL COME ALONG THE WAY TO YOUR FAMILY AND YOU KNOW THAT YOUR MOTHER FUCK ANYBODY,YOUR BODY IS JUST A WHORE IN THAILAND,GO BACK TO YOUR MOTHER FUCKER PUSSY

  • A lot of stupid questions. Will you ask your PM Gordon Brown to surrender terrorists or violence? If Thaksin instigates a riot in UK just in order to get his assets back from UK government's seizure, will you ask Brown to step down? Did you really study how Thaksin abused his power?

Do your homework before asking questions, BBC!!!

  • @parinyatomdy , yeah the yellow SHIT are good terrorist.

  • A lot of stupid questions. Will you ask your PM Gordon Brown to surrender terrorists or violence? If Thaksin instigates a riot in UK just in order to get his assets back from UK government's seizure, will you ask Brown to step down?

Do your homework before asking questions, BBC!!!

  • if i was him i would be like "bitch let me finish!" lol

  • I don't like that bitch. She kept interrupting and wouldn't let him finish! I hate the way she looked at him like he was some kind of prisoners! Can't these rat reporters have some respects to our prime minister??

  • Does anyone know where to find a link for the complete interview? And yes, the BBC should do their homework before asking stupid questions and be so rude about it. Yeah, she had absolutely no idea about the what's really going on. It is embarrassing cuz England and Thailand both have the Westminster dual chamber parliament system. It was funny though to see her trying to look serious after such a blooper. Kudos to the BBC!

  • she said PM has a long explanation. ot's bcoz she doesn't know anything. that's why he need to say that long.

and she doesn't even know that there's a delay of the feed when she kept saying "YOU YOUE SELF HAVE NEVER WON AN ELECTION" for the third time at 3.15 . what a shame.

  • @jilvalentine that is what i'm thinking . there is a delay for sure.

  • She looks like a witch!!!

  • haha.

    Best anchor ever.

She's very straight to the point to stop that bastard from going around questions.

YOU DO NOT WANT ELECTION, as simple as that.

YOU KNOW THE MAJORITY OF THE COUNTRY AREN'T SUPPORTING YOU SO U DON'T WANT FRESH ELECTION. COWARD!!

  • @apisitbitch Are U Tham.. ?

  • This clip just shows us the quality of BBC's host, she has no idea of what is really happening to Thailand. BBC should be ashame of this program. I'm proud that we have Abhisit as our PM in this crucial situation we are facing.

  • ABHISIT IS DOING THE RIGHT THING !!!!! by not allowing thailand to become a mob-ruled country !!! I TRUELY SUPPOT HIM AND JUST WANNA LET YOU KNOW THAT MOST (EDUCATED) PEOPLE DONT WANT GOVERNMENT DISSOLUTION BECAUSE IT WONT SOLVE THE PROBLEM !!!!!!! WHY DONT BBC INVITE THAKSIN TO THE SHOW AS WELL...... I DONT THINK HE'LL ANSWER THE QUESTIONS AS GOOD.... PERHAPS HE WONT UNDERSTAND THE QUESTIONS AT ALL !!

  • This anchor's manner is acceptable for me. She looked a bit rude because she was in a hurry for the next question. But she should have researched more about Thai politic before this interview.

  • She should consider taking interviewing course and manner course. She should have waited for him to finish his answer before she asks next question or argues...so RUDE

  • I'm the one to vote Mr.Abhisit to be Pm.

  • She didn't do homework at all, but she tried so hard to look tough in this interview.

  • Abhisit is the best PM of Thailand. He is very smart and very honest person.

Thanksin corrupted most most in the whole history of Thailand. Forget about the military coup things, that saved the country from being totally destroyed by Thanksin regime.

Why coup ? because Thanksin regime controls all the justice system and every thing ,every powers you can imagine at that time except military section that really love this country.

...BBC hard Talk looked like a baby talk with serious face :b

  • Abhisit is the best PM of Thailand. He is very smart and very honest person.

  • "Thaksin was removed in 2006" She said? Wrong information..

  • international news shouldn't even bother with the situation in thailand at the moment. they are so extremely biased towards the reds and have no idea what's actually going on. BBC, CNN, Al Jazeera are probably the worst of it. i realize that it's "hard talk" but seriously? what the hell was that?

"YOU'VE NEVER BEEN ELECTED. YOU'VE NEVER BEEN ELECTED. YOU'VE NEVER BEEN ELECTED".

it's like trying to explain politics to a baby.

  • @matsneyers The same procedural rules was used in the formation of all governments. If it is unfair then one must conclude that all governments formed under the same procedure must be inevitably be unfair. I've also never heard of their needing to be a referendum especially for the PM post. Abhisit himself never claimed to have been elected as a result of a referendum. I would really like to know what can be termed 'unfair' that can be attributed in particularly to this government.

  • Worse disgrace of the BBC anchor is to ask questions and to INTERRUPT before the interviewee has a chance to answer! Not only is it unfair, it's bad manners.

  • Comment removed

  • BBC: You haven't got mandate. Never won the election!

Abhisit: I have been elected 7 times.

It was a hung parliament for god sake!

Great the PM for didn't give in to her. Great lecture for this naive almost stupid reporter!! What a stupid remark to make.

  • @ja362602

When a party is dissolved or a coalition breaks you must hold new elections.

Thats a requirement if you want to take parlamentary democracy serious.

I give a fuck that he was 7 times in previous elections, he was not in the last one.

  • I didn't see any flaws of the new anchor, she just intended tn intervien the PM speach because it is too long thats all. This interception in the conversation, is not consider rude or illed mannered and also the PM himself is likely to intercept others speach in debate so is he considered bad manner too? Another thing the delay lady tries to put up an aditional question to helps him answer, and that could be interpret in the wrong way. She did a very good job and also Mr aphisit too.

  • @weedsandbong

Oh gosh, which video did you watch? The "lady" didn't do her homework. It was embarrassing to the BBC.

  • @weedsandbong Your pseudonym says it all. A relaxed and peaceful assertion of the interview. More weeds and bongs to the rest of the commenters here! And dear people why do you think this program is called "Hard Talk" in the first place?

  • The news reporter is totally fail !, and where are her good manner ?

She's the one who always stop the conversation.

In my view, this news reporter shouldn't be interviewing someone about political topic, because she doesn't know anything about Thailand's situation.

    You've ruined your carrer !

  • I agree with your comments,chariline.

  • Comment removed

  • Obviously, the news reporter was totally stupid !! ridiculous ! what a shame and no good manner. She questioned but didn't wanna hear the answers, then why had the interview ?? So rude. lame. idiot. Lady, you should have listened to the fact from the PM, coz what you called the fact was all bullshit and you have ruined your career by showing your stupidity to the world yesterday.

  • agree with yorianim. he didn't do too bad. the news lady did her job well.

  • Not all BBC people do their homework -_-"

  • I think the interviewer was just doing her job as it is "Hard Talk" that try to make interviewee hard to talk so it is normal that she played as PM's opposite side to trigger emotional side of the PM as well as asking the question foreigners want to know. She might have been done lots of homework before because she tried to focus on the point that PM should have cleared himself to foreigners. I don't know she's bias or not but with this Hard Talk, PM did it well. Foreigners can see PM is smart.

  • @yorianim

Well said. I think that's the whole point of the program. Who said it was called 'soft nicey talk'? Be fair on her. I think that most thai ppl. aren't really accustomed to this type of interview but I think it benefits Abhisit in the way that it gives him a chance to show that he can still argue and support his points well with reasons when feeling under pressure or challenged.

  • @boolalajj Oh, so "Hard Talk" means pressuring interviewee with stupid questions? Come on, she could ask serious pressuring questions but doesn't have to act so rude as she did and let Abhisit have his time to answer. She kept interrupting him with irrelevant questions, she doesn't really know the fact of Thailand.

  • @Aeyvix4k Chill :) let it go. If her manners and 'irrelevant questions' do not please you, you are free to make complaints to the BBC rather than have a go at me.

  • @boolalajj

That's not the point. The point is, in my opinion, Zeinab Badawi didn't do her homework. I'm not Thai incidentally.

  • Comment removed

  • @Dontheguru Yes, so you keep saying. But what makes you think that I'm not well aware of that fact? Just because I don't agree with people calling her rude and a 'bitch' doesn't mean that I think she has good perceptions of what is going on in Thailand. I'm used to the BBC's opinions on Thai politics so nothing surprises me anymore. The fact is that some people are quick to anger and hate others but I like to think positively and look at the big picture.

  • @yorianim

I beg to differ. I thought it was a disgrace for the BBC's high standard.

  • What a non-working anchor, she should go to be Soap opera actress more than seriously political interviewer.

  • she's sure not the brain and beauty type!

  • What a disgrace this BBC's anchor was on the interview. I hope she could have learnt thoroughly more about Thai politics before being assigned to be the anchor for this interview.

  • @mchaisoccer Yes I agree they should learn more and ask questions.

  • @mchaisoccer classic, Abhisit look stunted every time she ask a question, because she has done her homework well.

  • @adum50

it was sound delay that could happen when interview online.

  • She misunderstand the Concept, and would never understand what is going on now. P.M. Abhisit is a very good man.

  • The news anchor did not do a good homework about the situation. It seems that she just learned it through a couple articles. When getting caught, she talked over PM Abhisit. Silly!!

  • @KAPIBARABOW

go get some good education, kid.

  • yah, ...maybe she should have learnt more news before shooting lots of questions

    whatever

he could clear the questions, not "ahhh... hmmm yeah ...well u know democracy ..." like someone in faraway land

  • I support PM Abhisit! :)
