God this is crazy to see Steve Keirns and Kevin Sullivan from those days. I started watching wrestling in the 90s so when I think of Keirns I think of him as the tobacco spitting wildman Skinner. When I think of Sullivan I think of this short puggy man leading the Dungeon of Doom to destroy Hulkamania

This footage is special to me. This was from the first episode of Georgia Championship Wrestling I watched. It was the first time I had been able to watch any wrestling since our local station dropped AWA Wrestling in 1977.

Ever since there has always been some form of pro wrestling on TV. I thought Georgia Championship Wrestling was the best. I enjoyed watching Tommy Rich, Ted DiBiase, the Freebirds and Ric Flair. I also think Gordon Solie was one of the best announcers ever.

Steve Keirn became Skinner in the WWF. He must have been desperate for money. Whoever came up with that idea should have been fired!

With this match Sullivan made his first heel turn. He would turn face again before turning heel in Florida. He was not always this big. He got turned onto bodybuilding in the early 80s and changed his body in a short period of time.
