All of the sudden sub zero bones turned into smoke.

yeah these are all cheats, not glitches. The only real fatality glitch is Johnny Cage's, if you are fast enough at the end of the match you can take the guy's head off multiple times for the fatality, but you have to tap forward very fast and the timing is tricky. Occasionally the second uppercut even misses, and if you sweep the opponent to knock him out and do the fatality fast enough, you'll swing and miss before they even get up, and still be awarded the fatality bonus.

Oh man, the ending was sweet, but really disturbing.

Honestly, this was, for me, the darkest MK game. The death screams felt actually realistic - MKII and beyond, it felt fictional, and I was cool with it. But these, the MK1 Fatalities, they STILL give me goosebumps. @_@ Heh. So all those decapitation Fatalities at the end...it was excessively awesome and yet really disturbing at the same time. What a freakout. Awesome.

I do agree with you , the first mortal kombat was serious and violent. Since mk2 came with friendship and babality the serie began being more funny than serious (but its still very fun!)
