"everybody somebody's baby", or "everybody somebody's plaything".. Sounds like she sings the first..

Connie Francis, for whom the song was written sings the word "plaything," but most of the cover versions of it-Loretta Lyn, for one-sings the word "baby." I think it was written as "plaything;" some singers who covered it misunderstood the word. I prefer "plaything" because it's in the same context as "fool."
