He's one of the best things that's ever happened to the Habs since their last cup. Roy will never be behind the Habs bench. Remember how he left Montreal? Retiring his jersey was a gimmick. He can't even keep the Remparts in check, he doesn't deserve to coach anywhere in the NHL.

Its my opinion and in many hockey analysts. You dont have to have eyes to see that the habs are going in the wrong direction. How old are u like 16?.. go back a few year .. like when u were 14 or 13 im not quite sure. Gainey didnt do that bad of a job as coach. Im not saying Gainey would do a better job. Im saying that a change was needed. Gainey said in his press conference that if the players want ice time they need to earn it. He's not going to have a problem taking people out of the line -up cuz he wont have a GM on his ass asking a bunch of question. I think its going to push the team to work harder and winning most of their games till the end of the season
