Considering the Gigas that came before, I'd say Zelos is underpowered. His magic is weak, and the Moonstone Cannon shaves HP off him like a scythe shaves heads off bodies (but then, so do the other moon-based weaponry the ship can acquire). The Moon Gun does 2/3 the damage the Cannon does, and the Moonstone Cannon is supposed to be a super weapon. Plus, Zelos' attacks do a few thousand damage, with rare exceptions. It'd feel more like a final boss if he truly devastated your HP in one turn.

Zelos is the extrem easy ..... for real at this time you can have 99x complete ciit und his attacke makes normal under 1000dmg und before he transfrm you can make more then 50% dmg .....

Why does no one ever cast Selenis in Zelos?

It's like the only part in the game where the spell is actually useful, and extremely useful at that! It makes Zelos waste every turn it does magic.

You get them from ship battles. The hard one to get is the torpedo, when u first approch solitce, u face the defence robot, u need to kill it, FAST. if u do, u get moon weapons.

@Casanova646 There's a mini-boss of sorts when you try to enter the Silver Continent for the first time. He never fights; he only runs. If you beat him before he escapes entirely, you'll get rare ship equipment, like the Moon Gun. Be warned: you only get the one chance. You have to reset from a previous save if you want another try.

The complete kits are very inexpensive and can completely heal all damage to your ship. Buy like 30 of them. That will help greatly. It's unfortunate if you missed the Sparkling Deck, but if you go to Horteka in upper sky there's this Giant Looper that you can fight in a ship battle, and if you beat it you can get the Alloy Deck. Getting more crew members helps slightly, since some boost your ship stats and others can be called on in battle.

My favorite strategy was to get four attacks a single turn, where the moonstone cannon would fire, a torpedo, and I would have two 10' guns

I always loved the fact the delphinus had to have the engines reversed so the ship wouldnt go backwards from the moonstone cannon. Hell of a recoil. I had so much fun with this game. Especialy the ship battles. my title reflected that "Sky Battle King Vyse".

Fabulous game, I could care less what anybody says about it, it's an amazing game. The plot is intriguing, the characters are interesting, and each has their own separate story line and personality, something I've found rare nowadays, everyone follows the same categories but Skies of Arcadia, it definately stands out. My favorite game ever, nothing can compare.

this game kicks so much ass its unbelieveable. this was and still is an ace rpg. i'm usually lvl 42-50 here. just use incremus and quika abd use surelum( the 1 that gives full health bak when necessary. works for the dude after this fight as well

Zelos is just an hp hoard. This form shares strong attacks easily covered by a complte kit or sacrulen. Usually at this point, I'd be lvl 39-42, and still win easily, providing I have fina's riselem working for me in the battle before and after.

By the way, Optimal Weapons for this battle is: Crystal Cannon, Moon Gun, Moon cannon and Moon torpedo. First use Moon Gun, then Moon Torpedo and have it land on the 4th turn, then have the strongest characters use the cannons for optimal damage.

A Sylenis + Drilnos combo turns the battle in your favor, Add Increm/Incremus + Quika to that and Zelos falls easily! You don't even need the Moon Stone Cannon to whoop him then... Zelos is in the middle of the island because he has not completely formed yet, so it would be obvious that he would be stationary during the formation process.
