  • Looks like the atoms/molecules of lead iodide were still attaching to other molecules of it same kind, just like you would grow your monoammonium sulfate crystals.

  • what is the measurements or quantity of lead nitrate and potassium iodide used here? cause we are supposed to do this in next next week monday. please help..

  • @disastergirl888 two possible reasons for that: 1) it cooled too fast 2) it wasnt very pure. If you do it on a large scale (mine was a 2L flask i think) it helps it cool slower
