Looks like the atoms/molecules of lead iodide were still attaching to other molecules of it same kind, just like you would grow your monoammonium sulfate crystals.
what is the measurements or quantity of lead nitrate and potassium iodide used here? cause we are supposed to do this in next next week monday. please help..
@disastergirl888 two possible reasons for that: 1) it cooled too fast 2) it wasnt very pure. If you do it on a large scale (mine was a 2L flask i think) it helps it cool slower
