K they made purposly so they were 2 colours cuz it is like a one size fits all kinda thing, the reason u put it on insted of foundation is because it's so much lighter and I guess therfore better for ur skin,, I just got this product and it's exaclty wut I wanted and it feels alot better then foundation does on it skin

This is, as the name implies, a foundation. Nothing confusing about that, right? I love this product, but it is slightly confusing as to why you are using it as a bronzer, when it is a foundation/powder. Amazing product, and doesn't need to be set with a powder. Neither is it shiny.

This is not a bronzer. I wear it everyday. "Foundation Faker" means its completely blendable and provides not the least bit coverage. It is ideal for those who have really clear skin, but just need a sheer color correction for the face. It is meant to feel lightweight, like you have nothing on. I sometimes switch to liquid on nights out so I am completely covered, but I get most compliments on my skin when I wear the Foundation Faker because it looks like im not trying to cover.

i've had professionals at places like sephora put foundations on for me and they always do it really thick and cakey which annoys me. it's not the foundation, it's the way they were putting the product on me

Completely agree with you! Makeup artists put makeup on people to "Cover" and "Color", not to make you look natural, as you can tell cuz every MAC artist looks like they have birthday cake on their face

me too! i have fair skin and freckles, it is like a horrible dry powder on my skin, and gathers at my lips and eyebrow, i cant even tell where i have applied it, and more goes onto the sponge then my face, i also paid 30 euro, so not worth it!

this is like a tinted moisturizer in my opinion, with very light powdery finish. its not for people to add colour to skin, just to enhance your natural skin tone!

I have used foundation faker and it is great. It is very light and DOES feel like air on your skin. It might get a little oily in the afternoon. IT IS NOT A BRONZER. Also- agreed with the other posts. You are a beautiful girl with BEAUTIFUL SKIN- go lighter with the bronzed/tanner/foundation. Your skin will look ever MORE beautiful and less muddy. =) Love your reviews!!

Benefit Some-kind-a-gorgeous is not meant to be a bronzer. Benefit makes a bronzer that is called Hoola, they also make one called 10. However, the product you reviewed is actually a cream to powder finish foundation. They call it a faker because it shouldn't really feel like you have anything on. You should apply it all over your face the same way you would a normal foundation. Also, the reason they only have 2 colors is because it is supposed to blend to match almost any skin color.

i use this in Light. i really like it, it covers what needs to be covered yet weightless, and that's very appealing for me. i hate feeling like there's product on my face, this feels like it's not even on you. Best faker ever.

Benefit deep is for black people. i have it and love it, the reason it comes in two colours is because it blends into all skin tones seriously :-) goes great with that gal primer, i have both :P seriously dont go for deep, go for original!!!!!!!!!

I have the 'Some kind of Gorgeous' light one. It is the exact colour of my skin tone and it works brilliantly for me! It is definitly the best foundation i have tried and i have tried a lot. I guess you've just got to find out what suits you. It is also quite opaque so it also works very very well as a concealer if you want a lighter make-up look. Over all i think it is a fantansic product!

It doesn work ok, I would swatch it at a store first to be sure- it can get a little cakey in the heat of summer though! I was wearing Dior forever in this video I post it in the description area on each video! Any founadtion can work with a gold look as long as it matches your skintone! :o)

A couple of tips for you: #1, when you hold products or your hand up to the camera to show swatches, don't hold them quite so close. They are always blurry.

#2, Your user name is placed right where your hand is when you show swatches, so it's hard to see them sometimes. You might think about either moving the placement of your name or if you can't do that, hold your hand up a little higher.

SKoG is a foundation faker to give you a more natural look. The reason it comes in only 2 shades is because it adapts to your skin tone. Basically, if you have white skin, go for the light shade. If you have olive skin or darker, use the deep colour.

Definitely setting it with a powder will help give you a matte look and will keep it on.

I think SKoG is amazing and it does not seem like much but it lasts ages.
