If you watch the entire documentary, you learn that, in this woman's family, the BRCA mutation is coming from her mom's side of the family.

"Your mutation would have come through your mom" Is this really correct? The BRCA1 mutation can be inherited also by boys, so they again can pass the mutation on to their daughters - so they would get it from their father. I hope no one have been mislead by this information, it is a very serious thing to provide wrong information about.
