  • When you are standing still and notice the clouds moving over at the rate these were...usually means a storm is nearby...

  • @catman5169 Very observant of you. I'll keep that in mind next time.

  • You have now lived in Indiana for the day LOL. Our storms lately have been like this. Just uncontrolled sheets of rain with gail wind force. I cross my fingers that we never have a tornado bigger than an f2 because it would bring some major devastation. I live in greenwood, just 15 miles south of downtown Indy and we have 2-3 (3rd was a small barnstormer tornado like .5 lol). There is nothing fun about them.

  • It sucks because I live in a part of Georgia were we get it the worse So im scared silly every season. I want a nice deep Tornado shelter so badly.

  • That's just like me. I hear a tornado warning I go right outside to check it out

  • Yeh wow I can see that rain rotating!!! We had rain like that at school in Aus once! It didn't last that long though!

    \Great capture!

  • it would be smart to TAKE COVER!!!!!

  • The power of these storms always amazes me.

  • @namewasavailable

Yes, in general--you can track the storm on the radar...but you never really know what it is going to do and where the winds will start to develop.

  • Great footage! Thank you

  • That raIn CAME FAST AND HEAVY!

  • @elainebmack

The video doesn't do full justice--it was intense; unlike anything I have ever experienced.

  • 70 MPH? Thats nothing. Theres going to be a 105 MPH wind hurrican where I am :(

  • @pretty5pixie

    Take shelter, be smart.

  • @pretty5pixie I agree. Hurricane winds dont start till 74mph....and we get nasty storms down here in FL.

  • @pretty5pixie try jumping off your roof and parachuting down with a sheet.

  • what city was this, if you don't mind my asking.

  • @hlischoir

    Olive Branch

  • @cammattscott Okay, thank you. :)

  • @cammattscott Olive Branch Mississppi?

  • @ministercreek Yes, that is correct.

  • No tornado but still a pretty awesome downburst.

  • @ThePapabear1017

Actually, there WAS a tornado--this was the outside of the storm. I didn't capture the funnel cloud, true...

  • You can hear the thunder!

  • it was even worse in st. louis. (the rain) we got a f-0 tornado, but thats it

  • Man, everything looks so calm.......that had to be pretty scary.

  • that looks freaky!

  • WOW!!!!!!YOU WERE SCARED,,

  • @markmnorcal

Slightly, at times...because of where I was standing (inside my garage) I could not see if there was a funnel cloud developing behind my house...
