this is spanish, from Spain.Senegaleses that life in madrid. They toke about what is the tipical food in some cities of spain, so they say, for example, ¿where we are? and the say. in sevilla, and what we eat? gazpacho....Valencia? paella...

I can answer some of my own questions thanks to looking up the name "Djanbutu Thiossane". On the roots website I found this 1999 review- "The Senegalese trio of Ass, Mass & Pap N'Diaye form the core of Djanbutu Thiossane, and the brothers' emphasis on percussion is evident on this debut recording,"

Through reading that review I learned that the language is Wolof and the African nation is Senegal.

But I still don't know what the song/chant means.

I happened upon this video and I'm glad I did. I love the drumming, percussion and call & response singing/chanting.

What language is this? Is this from Senegal (I think that's what I heard at the end of the video.)
