Then i'm not really sure what they're doing when the little tel''s him to "Fix it like this" and "Do that" but then Waddy does whatever that is and that's when she says "My heart is fixed" and the kick-butt instrumentals come in.
Ok if anyone is confused at all about the beginning, here's what i think is happening:
The little girl goes up to her parent's bed and tries to tell her mom that her heart is broken, but the mom just moans a little bit cause she's sleeping, but Waddy wakes up and tells her that he'll help her. And "the space" they're talking about is a space on the bed ("im gonna fix it, lie in the space here") then when the girl says that "mommy doesn't have a space for me there" and Waddy says
officially my favorite from maxnormal.tv :) next to 'tik tik tik' and 'dassie'. i bet yo-landi & ninja are awesome parents, just based on this song <3
@phadinglove I think the idea is there is no "true" waddy when it comes to his image. that's the point. he has to create a persona to connect with certain people or groups to convey the same message in all his types of music. he flexes his style.. Now he's found the image that will break all barriers, speaks to both the conservative and outlandish types of our world in the most unique way: Die Antwoord... Zef
@greeneightball true... & how many of us are exactly the same 100% of the time??? in different situations people bend & adjust all the time so i don't see why people have such a problem excepting these diffent personas...???
@waywardrose1 Thank you. Agreed. No one has 1 "true" persona that they revert back to.. We are always changing, growing, trying different aspects of life; so I really don't get why ppl are so offended that D.Antwoord peruses one, experiments, and tries another.. it's a perfect representation of growth and self-discovery. I think the problem is people don't care or want this anymore.. Creativity is just not cool among youth in the western world. You can thank media, especially mtv for that one.
