  • Horrible. This is NOT habesha culture, and don't try and pass it off as zefen tikur from the south or something in the name of "multicultural". I know konso, Surma, Anauak and this is NOT from them. It's a bastardization of what some ignorant people want to paint as "African". Keep it. Stop bringing it to Ethiopia!!!

  • Love it. Glory Africa.

  • Wish ethio ladies had booties like thatt.

  • Wehehehe

  • towkichaw betammmmmmmmmm tidebralachuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu kemir ya sidama bahil endezih aydelem wushetammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmeshi

  • all is the fucking ethiopians shid

  • Why the hell are our beautiful west african girls in this ethiopian video, Ethiopian girls cant dance or wine like that. Ethiopian need to learn how to dance and not use our women in their videos.x

  • Stop sayin "Hot" in every video. Damn thats just misleading. Now I want my minutes bck,

  • so not the real video we Ethiopians don't dance and look like that!

  • nice song, the sad part is you used videos of latin girls dancing in their room on youtube...and girl with skimpy skirts...Sooooooo not Ethiopian!!!!!

  • Those girls in the video are not ethiopian, this person took the video from a sudanese song called "nada"

  • I love the way they dance wowow I wane dance like then

  • I love it, very cute

  • i watched about 20 seconds of this and decided to watch a manalemosh dibo video instead.

thumbs down along with all my other fingers.

  • oh wow and yes most of them are i would like if people stop commenting if you dn't like the vid cuz you obviously watched so yeah stop the bad comments and i don't think this is insulting

  • fake ass

  • THIS IS NOT ETHIOPIAN.

    THIS IS DISGUSTING.

NOTHING ABOUT ETHIOPIAN CULTURE IN THIS SONG OR VIDEO.

Stop humiliating us Ethiopians! (Not the poster of this video, but the music industry).

Nothing traditional about this. The butt shaking is STUPID and not ethiopian.

I know MANY Ethiopians who hate this new obsession Ethiopian producers are suffering from.

  • @SelaamHabesha First of jackass music is a universal language that doesn't always have to be traditional and it's probably why nobody else in the world has heard it because it only caters to one audience! Everything needs to evovle including your culture and traditions.....

  • Screw it... I'll swing my sword for a minute or so. Look at the checkerboard. The red and black represents the white and black (Passive and Active Energy). The three dancing ladies in the middle is the Trinity (The world of Saturn or Malkulth from the Kabbalah). The four is the structure of the whole. 8 represent Saturn (Father Time or Chronos), Maltese Cross or the LOGO is there for all to see. There are too many sigils to comment in this one little comment section.

  • @hamdustan... turn down the volume and watch it again. Listen to the small voice inside and then remember. When you remove one of the spells, the truth presents itself. Too much to speak of in this small window to comment. There is reason why this is coming to the surface but in time, sooner than many think... truth will present itself. We can speak further about this offline away from the children and "others". TENET is LORD and HE will not give up his creation without a fight.

  • @sunoflight396 What the hell are you talkin abt? I think you're replying back to the wrong person my friend. I applaud ur deep theological and myth-oriented knowledge but i cant see how any of it relates to what Ive said.

  • @hamdustan If you can't see how it relates, then it's not your time yet. Peaceful journey.

  • @hamdustan Unfortunately, it's more complex and much older than what is visible. Chronos is King in Malkulth and the old man will not give up the goods so easy. Symbols and sounds act as God-SPELLS for the weak. Their mission is simple, confuse the GODS. Our mission is simpler, awake them and evolve out of Chronos. Consumers are selfish and in their consumption, they forget what it is they are here to do. So dance, consume, and die. But do they die? Hint: John Dee...St. John... Sator... FIN.

  • hey, i've been in ethiopia, but i have never seen ethiopian girls with this style of dance.Maybe i was in one side of ethiopia.I think the girls in this video are from Reunion,or sourthern and southwestern africa.I agree that ethiopia is more diverse, but keep it real, these girls are not ethiopians. thankyou.

  • @lennin01 I apologize for my comment directed about waking up to you. I have taken the liberty to research the many comments you've posted on upload videos (Like a online video groupie) and I will reserve from explaining to you why these young children are dying by the dozens a day. It's like throwing pearls to swine. The puppet attempting to teach the puppet maker how it was made. Continue living in this pit, don't change a thing about yourself. 37/73

  • @lennin01 believe me young child i have researched this degrading dance and if you have any understanding that the black race is on the dinner plate for extermination, you wouldn't be so proud to support this garbage. It's your culture and your new dance, here in America they are doing a great job killing our youth. Wake up and stop drinking the kool aid.

  • I have no problem with this song, but I would like to say that it does not reflect real ethiopian culture and the women featured are also not ethiopian, so just don't get it confused.

  • @shdrw this rhythm is based on a blend of the Wallayta traditional music and the modern dancehall vibe. So what if we combine two cultures and come up with an amazing outcome such as this one? The world is globalized..keep up with the program. And this is not the real music video made for the song....

  • @hamdustan I feel that it is a misrepresentation of "Ethiopian" music and culture, but I have no problem with the song. Of course Ethiopia is a very diverse nation with many different styles, so maybe titling the video with more specifics such as "Wallayta Music".

  • My pleasure, since the youth of this world are brainwashed to degrade themselves for materialism and ego, let them remain in the abyss. My last comment. This is not original, just a Babylon Copycat. When the beast fall, this "new culture" you so well put it will fall with it. Beautiful women have more respect for yourself.

  • tnx guys

  • This is an amazing work of art. Incredibly well produced and presented. Listening to the lyrics and seeing the amazing production, I only thought of something undeniable: Chauvinism is dead! Halelujah! INQUAN INDEZIH AYNET LIJ TEWELEDE! Finally we won! "Chenbelala!"

  • i love this song!!!

  • really people ?

  • This is how it starts... another culture destroyed by "THEM". WAKE UP Children of the Lion. Next if not already drugs will plague your streets, media will report division, and while the masses are grazing like goats, "THEY" will make massive amounts of money off the "Blood" of Judah.

  • @sunoflight396 , don't 4get dat ethio s a multicultural country... if ur stickin' to one only plz stop commentin'

  • @sunoflight396 did you know to the south this is traditional dance? you should look up things before you start typing. And that Jah bullshit is Jamaican.

  • @sunoflight396 who;s "they"? Babylonians?

  • @sunoflight396 AMEN!

  • nice keepup nd give us more!!!

  • eh love it nige what the fu** ya taing about user /themagdawg/

  • ENDE!! endet balagay neger new.

  • Speachless !!!

would have been more beautiful if the girls were ethiopians!

  • Can you please some of Couers Brises songs/ videos from 2000 and 2001 please . Thank you.

  • shake that ass girl

  • watz the gutys name in da begining

  • guys which fuckn vedio is the original there is like dussins of vedio for dis song yahn

  • So NOT Ethiopians. People, if you havent seen the real Video just type, Chambelala. Its a lot nicer. This looks trashy.

  • Dis song go hella hard in da club.

  • Neither the main dance in this video or the girls (real dancers) are ethiopian. I believe the girls are typical of sudan and they're dancing a mixture of african including southern ethioipian and also dancehall. The video is not really clear anyway bcoz different videos are edited together, seen seperately - so its confusing as u see ethiopian music there...

Stop with any negativity and hating pls, all u east africans - particularly the somalis bcoz u guys r disgraceful with ur hating!

  • Video..Shame...Why direct copy from the Sudan music??..."Duttywine african style &sudan music tone" people you tube it.

Song...Excellentoo...betam arif. Love it..Mood alew blenal & thumb up again

  • MademoiselleCytherea, They copied some of the dance clip from some other video clips. I believe it was from some Caribian song or so..... The song is great but it would be great if they stay to the true Ethiopian Dance. Eskobar2008 Please GROW UP! You don't represent nobody but yourself......

  • Can anyone tell me more about the dancers in this video? I see them a lot in youtube videos. Is it typically Ethopian or not?

  • no it is not......they are not Ethiopians.....

  • @MademoiselleCytherea some of the dancers on the video are ethiopians and the dance style has connection to the suthern tribes of ethiopia(actually the music bit is southern including the repeated words in the song). If interested search welayta, sidama or dorze(add ethiopia to the search).

  • "Chembelela" is one of the best Ethiopian hits of these days. but u s**kers, STOP confusing people up. The original clip is great by itself. None of this combination is part of Chembelela. Most of the dancers are Dany Engobo's dancers from congo and the singer is not him. Hey dude, google Dany Engobo if u are interested in his ladies they are realy sexy and they kno how to dance.

  • cool song !!!!!

  • Beautiful song Beautiful original flag and afrocentric dancers.

  • sorry .....many of the ladies are not ethiopian.

  • Eri BABY YES WE ARE BLACK AND YES WE ARE FROM AFRICA

  • Camellia0nline? why do u have to explain who u are to anybody ? We are Habesha and we are proud .If anybody have a problem with it , they can go fuck themselves.

  • what is chembelala means!????thnx!

  • Quoted from EthioPolitics...

The song is about the dawn of the New Year in the southern Ethiopian region of Sidama. Chambalala is chanting music that often leads to a rewards for the singers of Bure Samita a special mixed meal of milk, Kocho (bread), and butter. But for this artist, the Chambalala culture has become his trademark and has given him more than a special meal for a day.

  • Tokichaw explains what Chambalala means to him: When you go to a house the day after the Fiche (New Year) has been celebrated, you say Ayde Chambalala, and the crowd in the house will welcome you saying, Adona Buro.

  • thATS WELL DESCRIBED

    maganu batahi

  • i was told it means 'addis amet' or new year....not sure tho

  • it means happy new year...in sidama

  • Where is Tokichow in this Video?

  • Great song with a very innovative and unique sound.! When I heard it for the first time in a taxi in Addis, I was so excited I was asking the people the artist's name and the meaning. I don't understand why some people have to try to tear down the artist by being negative... If you don't have anything nice to say, just don't say anything at all.

  • Tokichow is among a few talented young artists in Ethiopia. he is also well known for his featuring in Yambule (2000 E.C. best song of the the year).

tnx for ur comment and enjoy the music

  • bunch of strippers!!geez!what were u thinkin? chembel...whatever..

  • I agree..the music rocks! took me a while to really realize that though!...I wander why the ET singers don't get how their video clips could affect the song's view-ability...I just don't get it why?? could have been hillarious if it were held without thoz cloudy performances,...damn!

  • The Video sucks, believe me!
