Hi, at about 15:30 today I witnessed a airline I haven't seen before, maybe you can provide me with some information. It took off from 08R at YVR. Looks to be like a A340 or A330, the tail was painted white with one blue and one red line going down. (I only saw the reflection of it off the glass of the building).

This is an excellent HQ video 5/5. I don't understand why Transaero does not operate direct 747-400 service from Vancouver to Moscow especially with the booming Russian economy. Transaero chooses to operate their 747-400 on the Moscow - Shakalin run which I have flown it is usually never full. They should operate their 777-200ER on this route

They surely would if the load was sufficient to maintain a regular line. (There were even some rumors of problems with the DME-YYL-YYZ-YYL-DME flights...)

Plus TSO is expanding into Africa (Mauritius) and South America (Rio) starting 2 January 2011 .

Sure! This summer charter program includes several flights a week to Corfu- Kerkyra. However i'm not sure about Thessaloniki cause i haven't heard anything about the flights there from other Flight attendants.
