I think most people in their right mind will not judge him even if he is saying 'damn'. Christians, if you got an issue with his lyrics then listen to something else... if you got an issue with the PJ because you are looking to base your Christianity off of things he is saying (or any other artist), then start looking to Christ, where your eyes should already and always be.

"damn" was a perfectly normal non-vulgar word meaning "harm" or "loss" until the church skewed its meaning into "condemnation" and "placing judgement" ... now they say you can't say it? ...yet it appears dozens of times in the King James Bible?!!
Christians should spend less time figuring out which Christians are legit and more time doing the work of the Lord. Pigeon said the D-word he must be going to hell, how absurd is that? Does the D-word qualify as sin? Even so, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Must be a lot of sin free people out there. I think If you don't like the song move on. Don't debate his Christianity, I'm sure you don't want people debating yours. Go preach the gospel, feed the poor, shelter the homeless

I am not tryna accuse him of any fault, but he is an influence to the others. People see him as a Christian and also see him saying words like "Damn" their standards of sinning will lessen :D

The fact that he said it is not the problem, it's the fact that he said it out of context. To damn means to condemn, so "Feeling so condemned gangster" would not make sense. Also, 99.9% of all Christian hip hop artists have the common sense to know that you don't need to use even the slightest bit of profanity to get your message across. To use it and be like "God doesn't mind as long as I don't make it a habit" is just an excuse to use blatant profanity.
I think some so called Christian artists only do Christian music as a stepping stone to go mainstream. And with what used to be a total lack of good emcees in Christian rap, an easier way to score a record deal. They throw in a Jesus here and a God there and suddenly they're Christian artists, accepted by a starving community with open arms.
Bur we should not judge, we should pray that he, and others, would gain understanding and know it's not okay to play both sides of the field.
I think it also may be used in a satirical or mocking way. Like.. He could be making fun of other artists who have used the phrase before claiming to be gangster, even though they aren't realy 'gangster' at all.
You should also notice that he changes it to so dang gangster when he gets the crowd to start saying it, so I think he is at least conscious of the fact that it isn't a word to be used often or that he wants to use or be associated with.
@AJames3362 It's satire I'm guessing, he's as hard and grounded as manny rappers who claim they are "so damn gangster" and from the streets who have actually fabricated or greatly exaggerated their criminal history and live it up in mansions and only mingle with every day people at concerts etc.
Who cares if he's Christian. Why don't you shut the fuck up and enjoy the music. Christian stooges.
