  • Very nice of Mr. Naseer Shamma for continuing to play my Grandfather Jamil Bashir's music. I am utterly amazed at the lack of musical knowledge some people have. It is nice to see people know about this type of music. This link for Shallalat is not Munir's composition as someone stated. My grandfather had rou7ieh like no other, I'm sure Mr. Shamma who is a true artist will agree. -Majdoline Bashir

  • أول القطعة مستوحى من شلالات وختامها من رقصتي المفضلة للعملاق الكبير جميل بشير ، بأسلوب الموسيقار نصير ، وهذه القطعة ليست صورة طبق الأصل أو نسخة ، حيث أن طريقة الموسيقارين مختلفتين في العزف كما هو معروف .و عموماً تظل أحلى وأروع موسيقى عراقية .
