@max0678 trust me you dont want to learn how I did that effect at 3:04....it took me roughly 12+ hours of masking....frame by frame the entire thing. On top of the entire mask is over 10 effects. Just mess around with things that look cool...thats basically all I do lol

@EnviousProductionss oh i tried doing a masking effect once where you reload your gun for a transition effect, it didnt turn out so well. got bored after the 1st hour of masking and only 3 successful frames masked XD ill stick to the simple effects for now.

Look, I can agree that some of the editing is a bit over the shop, but seriously, thats one of the things that makes it interesting and original, because whilst regular gameplay is good its to repetative and slow, whilst the editing, makes fast transitions and in all seriousness that music syncing was awesome too. Besides, think, like fifty people have already had their little bitch about it, so you're not individual, just give the guy some credit its amazing editing :3

First off after watching montages and being around them for 2 years now I have realized that there is no gameplay that is fully satisfying anymore. Some cool clips but man we want it to flow, this editing to 3 rd person in between every kill gets annoying and obnoxious. So during the clip keep it flowing then inbetween clips you can do your 3rd person stuff. We want to see the kills all panning out from your view together first. I'm sure a lot of effort went in, grtz on that :)

It might be sick, but most likely done before. Over editing is one of the ways editors make their montages unique from others.

It was too heavily anticipated, and that's how everyone got their opinion on how it was the best. not even worth watching...too fasted paced editing. That degrades from the actual quality of the montage. These are only meant to show skill, entertainment, and funny/awesome moments of the game. This one is about the multikills, fast paced editing to get the the medals, and teh ability for the player to spam well to get nondeserved headshots...even kills.

Nice gameplay, love the triples being included (triple kills are easy to get, but getting a montage worthy one can be quite difficult). Honestly, the effects were overshot in my opinion; it looked more like a teaser most of the time than actual gameplay. Some effects were cool though. Music was alright.

it's crazy to see how much envious has grown as an editor. i remember getting him into editing, helping him with programs, capping for him, and showing him the ropes, and it's great to finally see his talent shine like this. he's probably THE most underrated editor and will definitely be a top editor before too long.
