  • I had a friend who got this. He didn't realize that you don't write on the screen.

He ruined a $1000 tablet PC by drawing on it with pen.

  • 3:45 for ports overview.

  • hey everyone, i was wondering if you could help me...

i am at a student at an architecture college, so the software we need happen to be like archicad, 3Dcad and autocad 2012. the problem is i suck at this technical sort of stuff, processors ram, etc. ive been inlove with the idea of convertible laptops, i was just wondering if this laptop could handle my type of softwares? and will last a long time? if it wont, does anyone have any other suggestion when it comes to converitible laptops?

  • @Lola2673 Hey! Whatever software you need to use, will have minimum system requirements on the box, you just have to see that the system can handle it. This one is an i5 M450 (processor) @ 2.5 ghz (speed) with 4GB (Ram) and 64-bit OS. I suggest this if it can handle your software with an external monitor if you need to carry it around or the T900 that can be found at the blog link in the description

  • How have you found this tablet pc? is the monitor bright? any eye-strain/ any grain or speckles or shimmer or granularity? is the processor fast and powerful enough? does pressure sensitiity work in all applications (eg opencanvas, art rage, photoshop, paint)? thanks :)

  • @yungphatrod the monitor is bright, no eye strain. If i am outdoors in bright sunlight visibility is not too good even with the light sensor working unless i cast a shadow on the device.Even though the light blue and whites and lighter backgrounds look slightly granular, I dont seem to notice this while reading text (lloks sharp) or looking at colors and photos. I have only used the pen on paint and ms onenote, and it works fine. This one is an i5 M450 @ 2.5 ghz with 4GB Ram and 64-bit OS.

  • @yungphatrod I normally have 2 browsers running, stock quotes, 2 browserbased charting programmes and one independent charting , stock news apps and the rest of google talk, skype etc and have found no dip in response time or any lag so i think its fine

  • @jasonvrodrigues Thanks for answering my questions! Greatly appreciated. I think I may get this tablet.

  • @jasonvrodrigues thank you very much for answering my questions so promptly! (I posted a thank you but it seems to have disappeared). I think I may get this. One more Q: where did you purchase it? I can only find versions with i3 processors.

  • @yungphatrod I recieved it from a Fujitsu project, I was part of. The project blog is in the description.

  • @jasonvrodrigues Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't see it before! I checked your blog, Lifebook4Life looks like a very cool program.

  • This laptop has got a shared graphics card, is ti possible to change the graphics card of this Fujitsu Lifebook??

  • @doyouknowme94 The TH 700 uses the integrated graphic "HD Graphics" from Intel.

It is not possible to change the graphic card. Hope that helps

  • Do you think this tablet could handle photoshop, or adobe flash, adobe video editing? I'm considering a tablet pc primarily using it for animating and drawing with the stylus on the screen. The stats seem powerful enough for it, but I've never actually handled one, what say you? Thanks.

  • @lokkentoons Absolutely. I have an older model that runs Creative Suite just fine. I LOVE being able to use it to draw in Photoshop. I can only imagine how much better this model must be than mine...

  • Hey jason, thanks for prompt reply, I was actually more concerned about viewing angle when used as a tablet, and in tablet mode when used both in landscape and portrait mode...Appreciate your inputs

  • How do you fnd the display and viewing angle for TH700. I have heard some users complaining that viewing angle is quite narrow especially in portrait mode.

  • @stevekfare i wold say 90-100degrees at max. I guess being a touch screen its very reflective. However its a tablet upclose when you need it or the screen tilts at every angle you can think of when its on your desk. Using it for the last few days i dont think thats been a problem. Hope that helps.

  • wow!!!! i've seem a lot of unboxings, but never one by a schoolmate... great job... hope to see more off of more products u buy... 2 thumbs up!!!
