Whelen's rotating sirens oscillate 360 degrees nomally, but this one seems to need a new rotator.

The only place electronic sirens belong are hazardous material facilities, nuclear power plants, and college campuses (to serve as loudspeakers for the PA)

That's exciting =) Though I guess Science & Technology is not necessarily the most exciting category on YT compared to ones with music videos and stuff. It'd be nice if YT's search fixed itself, as it still has the original upload title "FAU Test2" and hasn't changed to the new once since yesterday.

Hmm that sounds very wierd! Too high pitched and the voice sounds very distorted.
There's definitely something wrong with that siren, but still a great recording.

wail is high-pitched like that on both the 4000's and the vortexes
