remember 2003 when omar quintanilla broke aggy eric scheidt's wrist in a collision in first base. i remember because i was on the front row of the upper deck on 1st base. scheidt upended our player and flipped him over.. all the aggy whooped and hollered in excitement that the poor tsip got uprooted... stupid aggy (redundant, i know)... not noticing scheidt was holding his limp wrist as he cried for attention from the medical staff in the dugout. scheidt has never played baseball since.
remember when Texas reported the violation to the NCAA and Omar was suspended indefinitely for accepting plane tickets back to El Paso and for playing in the Mexican summer/fall league? ... Remember when the NCAA accepted Texas' punishment of Omar and moved on but the aggies are still complaining nearly 6 seaons later? do you remember? do you?
