I didnt even know Tori had ever had any surgery, i also couldnt care less, this is a great interview, but WHY do they dredge up "Me and a Gun" etc..From the onset of the interview i was like, hmm, i wonder if theyll ask her..oh, yes of course theyre going to do that. Its a 'news' show. Why not just leave it? Anyone can tell she feels no need to addresss that incident or issue, anymore. its done with!
@ALHAJEEB It's Hard Talk, they ask very probing questions so it was an obvious question. The question was delivered with tactful diplomacy unlike some interviewers who will hope to scoop some additional scandle. The question lead on to a charity she supports for abuse against women so in my opinion bringing up Me and a Gun was in this instance done for the right reasons.
He should have asked her why she had all that plastic surgery done and how she justifies that with her concerns about feminism. That would have been HardTalk.
I am a fan of her music, she's a true artist. But really, what is that bit in this interview about religious people being judgemental, a few breaths after she painted all her fans with the same brush (liberal, etc.). Tori, all your fans did not vote for Obama. Try to be a little more open-minded!
they should ask her about husband and daughter, or about songwriting, i think she would like it more, all these themes are not so interesting to her, you can see it in her face
@WyattCrow i have no interest in hearing her talk about motherhood anymore. she did that for long enough. and she's talked about songwriting in almost every single interview, and she usually does so in strange metaphors or in riddles so you don't know wtf she's talking about. after hearing her talk so obtusely in interviews since the early 90's, i think hearing her being franks and straight up for once as she is here is really refreshing. she's incredibly likeable here for once.
@toribjork10 she's a very creative, likeable person full stop. She's a highly creative artist who's been through a lot, she's highly intelligent. What do you expect a musician to talk about? she does lots of interviews for lots of countries so if you choose to watch them all of course they will sound similar after all there's only one way you can answer some obvious questions. One thing about her is she is very open and honest, which is more than I can say for other
@TalkToTheBody what? i said you usually talks in strange metaphors and riddles, so here it's good to hear talk clearly an in a way that doesn't confuse people. i've been a fan of her's since the early 90's so I've been reading her interviews before youtube. so i know what i'm talking about. in this interview it's almost like a different person. it's a good interview and she's relatable for once. also i don't know what "likeable person full stop" means so i can't respond to that.
@toribjork10 I agree she does have a unique way of talking, somewhat eccentric but I say that as a compliment to her. I like people who are just themselves, she is a highly creative woman and a woman who has endured a lot in her personal life and within her chosen career I am sure, but she has retained her individual charm. Being creative I guess it does make her talk deep and can be confusing to others not on her wavelength but there's a fine line between genius and madness ;)
tori-long time and loyal fan and that won't change. but please wake up and speak out against the real structure that is wielding power. obama is a puppet just like bush. 911 inside job. bilderbergs. cfr. the family. trilateral commission. illuminati. bohemian grove. new world order. please, tori, wake up. left right paradigm is over.
@AnotherCompartment the bullies of the world will fall upon their own swords, it's not a matter of if, it's when. Tori is a creative musician who has struggled and will push as many boundaries as possible but sadly she is not super-human. She knows her limits even though she is very opinionated (which I think is an attractive attribute) but she has a family to put first and foremost as well as her career.
@TalkToTheBody your type of thinking is why we are on the brink of WWIII. If her stance was simply to protect her family, then at the least she can refrain from verbally supporting CIA operatives in the white house. tori as of this interview is still locked into the left/right paradigm. once you wake up, you can't stop yourself from fighting.
@AnotherCompartment I'm not quite sure what I said that would cause WWIII but I am intruiged and hope you will enlighten me? US Politics is not the most squeaky clean side of the USA and the meddling and bullying has damaged not only other countries but the USA too. When I was a kid I looked up to the USA, but now it is completely stripped of the respect that it once received at least in my opinion and I find that quite sad.
@AnotherCompartment As for Tori, she has very strong opinions, sometimes she vents her anger and frustrations as indeed I do. I despise corruption as I can see she does too and I have fought against it and will continue to do so and always will. Tori's opinions unlike mine reach far more ears in high places but like I said she is a musician and mother
@cloudsifter11 who CARES what she's done to her face? I don't. all I care about is if she can still sing and play two pianos at once or not, and she still can. so I don't give a rip what she does to herself. she's still beautiful to me--her outer beauty isn't what shines the most anyway.

I agree.
Whenever I hear someone support Obama, I just assume they just haven't traveled far enough into the truth.
