@scaremengaviation the only volvo or volvos females drive are the xc70 60 and 90 the c30 and 70 are men driven and all the s cars are a mans car I agree with you fully he messed up on that comment big time there are no milfs driving a s or a c car
Based on the money you are paying for this car, you actually can get quite a few things. But seriously, a C300 as top ranked in your survey? IMAO: BMW 3>Volvo T6>Infiniti G>=Acura TL>C
Everyone says that Volvo's seem to have great seats......I wanna drive one to see what they mean now because seats are something that I never really pay much attention to.
BAD REVIEWER YOU CAN HAVE THE KEYLESS ENTRY !!!! AND ITS A 304HP 440NM of torque 2100rpm to 4200rpm !!!! and for short people you have the powered tailgate !!!
did i hear 3.0 with turbo? and its got about 300 hp? what the heck.. other car makers get that without the turbo. are they way behind in technology? buy this car brand new and will make you feel like you are in the 90's.
Horsepower is far from everything. This engine produces 440 nm of torque from 2100 rpm and it goes on like that to 4200 rpm. The peak torque is the same as in the new Audi 3.0 TFSI, however the T6 reaches it 800 rpm less - which DOES make a difference. And if the power isn't enough, there is always the R-design version with 325 hp / 480 nm.
They put a 315bhp 4.4 ltr V8 (Yamaha Sourced) from the XC90 into the S80 in 2007. That's a 300bhp turbo-charged 6-cylinder, same basic architecture as the 5 cylinder of the T5 and European Focus RS models.
Ron, I think you may be wrong about the new T6 being the most powerful engine Volvo's ever used in a seday. I remember a V8 in the S80 a couple of years back rated at around 310 HP and 325 lb/ft of torque. I think that engine's been discontinued now though.
@atami210 Reaction speed won't help you if you're driving down a road and a kid or an animal (say the technology is there) darts out from behind a parked car. Something is gonna die, especially if it's dark outside.
Sure, some people may slack, but I seriously doubt it. The typical driver is already lazy (at least where I'm from). The technology is moving us towards self-driven cars, which is the safest method of transportation (assuming the software is as great as the engineering).
i'd say don't mess with Volvos!

I have seen other reviews from this older man. He often calls cars/suvs feminine. I think he may have issues with his masculinity.

You don't need to have the key in to start it. It does have keyless go.

Female? I'm sorry, but my 2002 S60 is not female at all. And all the S60 drivers i've seen are men. Female my ass.

@skinnysponge The seats are super comfortable and they feel a lot better than the Audi A4 and BMW 3 series.

@dajudahzlion a4 is highly overpriced.... i agree btw

i respect your opinions, but the car looks awful. If blandness could be translated into a fascia, it would be the '11 S60.

Here is the problem with all of these safety technology, people start to slack off while driving.
You should be paying attention for pedestrians and all for these things, sure these technologies are nice, but people WILL start to slack off.

Yes, it sure is a really nice back-up feature to have, but some people will just stop caring about pedestrians, and braking and all.
