I think the best you could do is learn the chords for the verses/chorus (C, Gadd11, Am, F) the bridge (bowser/DK part; Em, F, Em, F,), improvise some of the variations, and sing the melody. It's more meaningful that way.

If you don't know any of the chords I'm sure you could easily find the layouts online somewhere.
