@6998Aj: I'm aware that there are several mistakes, but it was the best I could do in the ~2-hour time slot I had at the piano. I don't get to play on a real piano more than a few times a year. That's why I said it but still uploaded it. =)

SomethingUnreal, you're very modest in your videos. You did an excellent job playing and the "mistakes" were honestly unnoticeable. I'm learning some touhou songs aswell and although the note runs are killer on the fingers, they're awesome sounding, so nice job!

@xchroniclewind21x : "Flowering Night" is her theme in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody (10.5). "Lunar Clock ~ Luna Dial" is her theme in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil (6). As far as I know, "Night of Nights" is just Cool & Create's remix of "Flowering Night".

I'm intrigued by the way you play Flandre's theme. I've listened my way to my own two arranges, a fast version and a slow version. Your arrange however, seems like it's somewhere in the middle. Maybe you'd like to hear mine in one way or the other sometime?

In any case, your attempt at Luna Dial could have been much worse. I like how you take a break and continue, I usually ignore my mistakes until I've repeated them 5 times or so, then I feel like grabbing a sledgehammer :P

I just tried to play Flan's theme at the original speed, with the bass part as I've just learnt for several songs (e.g. A#1, then F2+A#2 together).

Sure - if you upload a video of you playing it, I'll watch it. =)

I tend to ignore my mistakes for a while too, but in this particular occasion I just thought it sounded so funny (so far from how I meant it to sound) that I couldn't continue for a second. I guess it seemed funnier because I was more nervous, being recorded. xD

Nice one! Keep at it. If I had access to a keyboard I reckon Touhou would be enough to get me learning to play. When my gran (a piano tutor) heard some of the TAM-Music piano pieces and told where they were from she was amazed, and made a brilliant "You mean computer games have music now!?" kind of comment.

I only laughed when I messed up because it sounded so massively different to how I intended it to sound. But yeah, concentration is always what I struggle with, even just when playing StepMania. Also, they're not side-burns, that's just longer hair.

Great video! I might post a response if I get the time to make one sometime, I'm currently working on The Prismriver's theme, which is beautiful and slow-paced, and a double-right hand part of Aya's theme that's quite fun to play.

However, I've finished learning a hard, improvised version of Usatei, which I will most likely post first, if I ever get it recorded.
