I love her costuming choices... her hair, make up, it all looks classy and yet sexy and mysterious at the same time! Its like... 1920s pin up girl meets mysterious religious goddess! My hair is long and red... Im not sure I can pull it off. This look is best with black hair I think. But If I look like her while dancing... Ill try anything! LOL

@XxPoizonisskiszxX Maybe you should read the wikipedia-article about "Tribal Fusion" clothing. Mardi developed lots of the fusionstyle clothes The Indigo was wearing. Zoe Jakes wore Mardi´s creations, too. So even Mardi should be copying Zoe´s hairstyle I´m pretty sure she wouldn´t mind, nore should you. ;) They are friends.

@XxPoizonisskiszxX You must not know much about Tribal Fusion or the Indigo. They will ALL tell you that Mardi is a huge influence on thier costuming. On a side note, during Mardi's interview, she explains she got these flowers when she used to work at a silk flower shop, meaning she had them for quite a while before this video was made. I'm sure if you go look through some old Urban Tribal Dance Company pics of her, you will see two white lilies on the sides of her head.

i'm still asking myself how much perfect this performance can be. The song (isn't it a theremin?) is ABSOLUTLY HARD to dance to and she made it perfectly, like coming out from the golden era, beautiful like a goddess, like a Mucha's illustration, never leaving holes in audience's attention. What can i say more, just wow, wow, wow.

The song is Whisky Sunrise by Dan Cantrell, and it's a muscial saw, actually! Very similar to theremin in some ways, but if you listen closely, you can hear the bow rasping against the metal.

Good call about Mucha. She really does embody that look and feel.
