@Adaequatioreietin Anything past season two works for most beginners. Just remember, you can't watch it with the mentality it sucks. Then it just can't work. It may require a few episodes, but becoming a brony is fairly easy.

The media is filled with close-minded idiots that could never appreciate a good cartoon or show. Who the hell are they to say only 20 year old unemployed men watch the show. I'm out of the original target age demographic but if I see a genius show with good humor, amazing animations, brilliant voice acting and an overall feeling of joy I've lacked since being a child then I'm gonna watch this gem of a show. And who the hell are the idiots on TV and on the radio to say anything.

The only thing keeping me going is My Little Pony, being able to see Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy and all the rest of them have adventures and shit, it just makes my day and puts a smile on my face. If it weren't for this show, I dont know where I would be now.

I am a chemist graduate, doing MSc in IP sensitive stuff (read, money-making shit), attend talks by some of the most prestigious scientists in the world every year, in my spare time run computational calculations on the redox potentials of electrochemically active molecules, as well as read a lot about nuclear physics and am especially fascinated by MSRs and TWRs. I have 2 cars, a gf (but who cares), and I think this show is dumb and would rather be watching the wire.
