granny- don't listen to those idiots, you can do whatever you set your heart on- and i hope you succeed in whatever you do- and if that happens to be the Navy, then more power to you. your goal to be in the Navy at such a young age (if you are serious) makes you better then 95% of the other kids your age because they dont have goals, they are a bunch of aimless adolescents, and most will end up potheads. long term goals will save you.

I said one reason why. that is a reason why they only allow the elite to works as seals, it is the hardest and one reason that it is hard is because people drown and stuff like that.

The Navy IS badass, if you end up in the right place, there is more room in ships for "nobodys" to help the ship operate than their is captains, pilots ect. You want to be the man controlling the nukes, although without a code form DC, the nukes CANNOT be used, same in Russia, all their new nukes need a "nuke code".
