Dual Rec: Sounds like a Dual Rec. Mark V... dirty. 5150... bigger, maybe a bit classier. Mako Makoplex: Too much overhead, but punchy. JVM410H: You expect a lot more from a Marshall. Pittbull Ultralead... almost adds a doom/sludge element, darker. 50CL: Sounds a lot like the 5150. Krank: Hottest sound out of any of these in terms of response, sounds like he's barely playing it and getting that. Out of these, for this riff, I really like the Mark V

i have also tried a krank and compared to the others well it just dosnt compare

I'm curious about the way the mark V was dialed. It looks like you guys backed off the bass quite a bit, in fact I'm a little surprised not to see the sliders set to a v shape like everyone else.  Was this necessary to get decent definition? Did it sound a little thin in the room? Also what mode were you in? Looks like mark IV mode but can't quite tell. I've been trying to dial this amp in for almost a year and your demo sounds better than my amp does! Big thanks for posting this, btw.

I've already mentioned it, yes. The VHTs were the last ones we recorded (we got exhausted by that time) plus they didn't pare well with the V30 speakers. They sound a lot better with Eminence.

маршал очень удивил, больше всех понравился. он без модов? а то в описании вроде указывается у вас, если моденный. начинаю потихоньку зуб точить на такой.

и да, ждём энглов с тем же сетапом микрофонов и тем же риффом, чтобы сравнить всё это лоб в лоб :)

@dimitry285 Marshall был стоковым. Записался на удивление хорошо, потому что динамики и позиции микрофонов для него оказались, видимо, родными. VHT-шки, например, живьем звучат поинтереснее и богаче, но на записи получились ужасными, потому что им нужны другие динамики (конкретно, Eminence P50E).

Поверьте уж на слово, стоковый JVM рядом с моденным даже рот боится открыть :)

сэтап повторить невозможно, чтобы можно было корректно сравнить.
