too bad the FX7 doesn't record the 240fps in HD. That was a big fault I had with it. When I go shoot car and horse events, I record in HD obviously, and when I want to mix a slow mo shot into the edit, it shoots it in less than half the quality.

this is very true - it doesnt look bad on here but on a TV the slow-mo looks pretty awful on this camera.

i didnt post the video but you just go to "smooth slow record" on the menu of the fx7 or fx1

I thought the FX7could only do something like 60i FPS?? How on earth did you manage to get 240fps, would love to know.

It has a slow motion feature where it records 6 seconds of real-time at 240fps. which ends up being 20 seconds of slow-mo. pretty cool feature.
