my dad builds engines for a living in a machien shop and yes the 408 is the sickest thing they poped out but as a ford guy the 408 chevey and dodge are no slouch but still ford overcomes lol

i got the documented 4th last 1979 fox body mustang to roll off the assembly line dec 27th a wednesday 1979 in my garage, with a blown tranny. has busted tooth on 2nd gear, and the rear bearing on the output shaft are totally seized. been sitting in garage 2 years, i go out there periotacally and start it up for 20 min, maybe wake the dead. i got long tube headers on the inline six turbo.

who knows if he was spraying or not. it depends on how the motors are built. some cars are more top end and some are low geard for the sreet. light to light. it all depends. also, the mustang was running a standard and the malibu wasnt. the malibu maybe ran out of gear. who knows...maybe the stangsprayed. props to both cars though!
