Well deals like NAFTA, the WTO, and the SPP(the new trade agreement) are very harsh on mexico, mainly the poor and indigenous mexicans. And the way of life and government promoted in the states is a big part of the problem. So they are not fighting the states directly but in a way they are opposing the culture at least.

Yes, but remember that Mexico agreed to that trade agreement. Mexico's government is very corrupt. There were many things that Mexico did to start phasing out indigenous agriculture, NAFTA was just the final confirmation of their actions that they did not care for the poor farmers.

Also, you say that the problem with undocumented workers is that what they are doing is "illegal" but think about this: It used to be illegal for African Americans to ride at the front of busses, too. If you lived back then would you oppose Rosa Parks riding in the front of a bus because it was "illegal?" Just because there is a law against something doesn't mean it's wrong.
