@chuckb11 The old battletech cartoon was an abomination. Poor animation, poor story, and really wasn't very true to the battletech storyline. At best it was "battletech-lite" for the 9-12 year old crowd.

I use my elemental suit to take down mechs before... req tactics and skills... also depends on the mech driver if he knows what to do... This mod is out.. combat is great and intense.... It is like Mechwarrior on c64 only everything is better... Worth playing and maybe even buying. but it is beta now and it is a free mod. provided you already have the original crysis game.

i dont really know what to say even now i'm playing MW4, and then i read about MW:LL so i get happy. but now i see that we are going to play Mech least. they are making fucking unreal tournament. (nothing against UT i love it) but i wanna have my fucking mech not some laser fucking pistol. i read that we will have some vehicles and similar shit. is this fucking battlefield 3015? what a hell are they doing with this game?

@KGBiH what you are seeing is combat in ELEMENTALS... you know those really tiny mecha-suits ... powered armour kinda thing... it's what you are when you're outside a mech/tank/vehicle... and is by no means what you want to be for the entire of a game.

MWLL beta is out, go try it out... it's hardly unreal tournament. :P

When you get flamed to death or simply run over/stepped on... you start to understand that bigger is better :P

wow, so you can play as somekind of infantry too? i hope they die a bit faster though, having to shoot continously with a melting laser at a man is just so halo-ish. :D cant wait to see for the game to be finished though!

Well technically thats how Elementals fights.

I mean if you're in power armor that can boost over forests and buildings and make you move faster than conventional vehicles why the fuck not?

Now if a 30 some odd ton mech spots you, you can dance all you fucking want that raven is going to smoke you.

I still remember destroying a friend's Wolfhound by swarming it with an elemental squad (battletech). They jumped right onto it's head and destroyed the cockpit.
