ur right mexicans are new to new york...........boriquas and dominicans have always been the latins of new york...here in miami we have no mexicans because they know that cubans are racist and they are not going to accept them for being illegal so new york is the new destination for mexicans because they know that puerto ricans and dominicans are very liberal minded people and will accept them regardless of their skin color or if their illegal....cubans are almost all white here in miami
@christm5 Wtf ma nigga ! dominicansss the FUCK ^ U Just one of them dominican haterss ! Us dominicanss up here in dha heightsss makee ya shit ROCK Nigga fuck outta heaaa !
There was a point where Washington Heights was out of control and at some times it still is, but things have gotten a lot better.. Most crimes consist of drugs and violence and senseless killing isn't rampant like it is in other places. In Washington Heights everyone has everyone's back.. Nobody gets robbed without a mob of strangers coming out to your rescue. No chance for these Hyenas who group up in 3's and 4's to go prey on the innocent, like they do in the Bronx just right across the bridge
As far as Dominicans go.. There are some who need serious guidance.. But most of us are good people. And we treat each other like family. So when certain people say we screwed the place up.. I think about the many Jewish, White, Russian, Irish families who understand the concept of "COMMUNITY", have been living here for over 70 years worth of uncles sisters and cousins and have never had a problem interacting, sharing, helping others or asking for help in a time of need.. Get with the program
@DemitriousMercury No disrespect to the Bronx as a community btw.. I've been living here by University for 12 years.. But I've seen too many injustice take place and people pretty much just watch.. So hailing from Washington Heights, I'm not surprised of the numerous times where someone's in danger and I'm the only one who comes to the rescue. Community's are built through Unity.
grew up in w173 and amsterdam back in late 1960's. great neighborhood then. Mixture of Greeks Cubans and Puerto Ricans. Then these F-ing Dominicans moved in, took over and F**ed everything up. Oh well atleast the women are fine.
mira pendejo, you may have made it better for trash like you for decent human beings that had to move out to better neighborhoods we remember Washington Heights with reverent nostalga of what once was a beutiful place to live, not the pig sty you made it. So vete par carao mielda
my bad i was using my brother's account instead. The reason why i said that was because yall dissing us, not all dominicans are what you think mamaguevo. yeah alot of us might of made it worse, but if you loved living here so much why yall let us take it from yall? So my nigga, shut the fuck up, y no able ma hijo eh puta. Por que el que se va pa el carajo ere tu hijo de tu maldita madre. I never diss no culture, so would appreciate it if you don't diss mines mothafucka
From my own personal experience Dominicans moved to my building and played their stereo pass 3:00 am. They threw garbage in the streets, drank beer on the front stoops, and one of them tried to mug my Dad with a knife. Thats why my family moved to a house in Castle Hill. Everything was cool till you platano, goat eating merengue dancing M***fers moved in. Hey not saying all Dominicans are bad, one of my best friends and best ball player I knew was Dominican, and I love the mammies.
listen, we came, yall left, too bad. you want it back, then come and take it. you say your not dissing all of us, but by the way you say,"you platano, goat eating merengue dancing M***fers" i dont know how am i suppose to believe you. anyway, just stop replaying because your wasting my time, obviously your not gonna do anything. you left so w/e.
I don't want it back. I reside in the Washington DC suburbs in Maryland. My whole point was that my grandfather, father and myself all grew up in the same apartment inWashington Heights, it was once a great great place to grow up in, until you guys moved in. I don't want it back. I live in a geat house, great place, my kids go to great schools. You keep it and live in the filth you created. PUNTO
i understand your point, now try to understand mines. Why you have to say "you people" like if we all wanted it like this. Yeah i have to admit, a lot of my people are idiots. But they are my people, and not all of them are like that. If you would have said some came or a lot came and ruined it, then ok, i understand. But you ment it like if we all ruined it. And stop being stereotypical, just because im dominican does not mean i eat goats and dance merengue all the time.
@spookielectric your actually wrong. Washington Heights has changed in oh so many ways. I am Dominican and I was born in 1991. I will admit my race has done ignorant actions, but thanks to gentrification, there has been many authorities in our area. Don't blame your problems on us, or if one of our Dominican people ruined something important in your life. That is just like a white supremacists blaming Mexicans for being here. Maybe you are right and some Hispanics have corrupted Washington
@djallusive heights, but did you know that whites have the heights percentage of victimless crimes with cocaine and other drugs to. You really cant say "we fucked up the heights" because back in the day Italians owned the heights. then after ww2 puerto ricans came and that was the era of latin kings which fucked it up more. then mexicans, later dominicans came. so in reality, we werent the only people who fucked it up it was mexicans, puerto ricans, and dominicans.
@djallusive I'm sorry djallusive, but me being from the Heights need to correct you on something, back in the days, the whites that were there were mainly jews, greeks, and Irish, maybe a few italians, there were a little bit of Puerto ricans at one time but not that many, in fact there was actually more cubans in the heights than Puerto ricans, in the late 60's and 70's dominicans started occupieing the Heights in large numbers.
@djallusive Mexicans were never a part of Washington Heights, especially before us Dominicans. In fact Mexicans are new to New York as a whole. They just started arriving to this city in recent years.
i agree if your country is #1 go there. thats right most places are poverty ridden and the lights get cut off in the whole town unless you have a little money
funny i thought this was the u.s i must be mistaken, nothing wrong with having pride in your heritage but blatant disrespect to the country that your in now is unacceptable
