  • it would help if this guy knew something about beer.

  • Fuck, I tried this beer for the first time. All I want to do is listen to rock music all day long. Maybe, it is because it is from California. That is why. lol.

  • drinking one right now, good!

  • I love this Beer too. A friend told me about this beer a couple years ago, Then Sierra Nevada Torpedo and now, recently Ranger Pale Ale. Still find my self coming back to S N Pale Ale.

Don't listen to the people that don't like pale ales. Either you like them or you don't

  • Why does every pale ale have to use more hops than the previous one? This stuff is nauseating, can't concentrate on anything but the hop overload while you're drinking it.

  • The aroma when you sit down and enjoy this beer is amazing and so much taste I really enjoy this ale. Sierra Nevada really knows how to brew some good beer.

  • Thats amber, not golden

  • I would like to commend you on your taste of beer, and I hear what you're playing in your background for music. Clever, sir, clever. "Beer" by Reel Big Fish.

  • Hey Norm. Great review as per usual

  • am drinking one too.

  • I like mine with breakfast. Tastes good when you get all sediment from the bottom of the bottle mixed in.

  • i jus tried this and it taste too leafy.

  • @UpskirtPower LOL thats the first time i'v heard leafy as a description. I know what your talking about there is a earthy piny aftertaste that can be unpleasant if your not use to it.

  • @UpskirtPower yeah that's exactly the right word for it! Knowing how it is a mainstream beer for environmental hippies, it kind of makes sense too- like they're just super natural and keep wheat/plant byproducts in there (or something).

  • @UpskirtPower Hands down THE best pale ale

  • "wow its flavorful" - why did you post this beer review? its not a beer review- its a videos of you talking about spring and bullshit!

  • @AronSensei Sorry to confuse you, Iv never considered my videos reviews, although in a few of my videos I probably do say the word review by accident. I just manly talk about the beer I try not to review them because taste is subjective. Cheers Thanks for watching.

  • This is one of the best beers that I've ever had. I put it in my top three with Leinie's red and Goose Island 312.

  • this is all i drink now:)

  • This is perhaps one of the worst beers I've taste..compared to the smooth flavors of Newcastle Brown Ale

  • @metropolisio There entirely different styles of beer? it not a fair comparison one is malty one is hoppy.

  • @BeerExpedition Ignore this dumbass. He (or she?) has commented on other Sierra Nevada pale ale videos saying the same crap. Just a typical internet troll trying to gain attention on Youtube. This beer is fantastic as is most of Sierra Nevada's products. If you can ever find it, you should also try their Estate Organic Homegrown Ale. It's the best beer in the world! Great video BTW!

  • @firemetal2007 Thanks, The Estate Ale is good, Iv been drinking the Southern Hemisphere lately. I love the wet hoped ales.

    Cheers

  • subscribed

  • That's Reel Big Fish- Beer in the background?

  • You Never tasted the beer in your video, BIG FAIL.

  • @fizzique86 I'm not sure what your saying?

  • Good beer but I prefer bass pale ale

  • is it better than coronas

  • @JO3haNsum its way better than corona doesn't even compare. Thanks for watching.

  • fuck yeah dude im drinking one as i watch that shit

  • This is a very good beer.

  • @LetsPlayStarcraft

    Still one of my favorites

  • Sierra Nevada > every other beer brand.

I've been to the brewery before. Had lunch there, took a tour, and had 3 pints of Torpedo.

  • Awesome Beer, I love Sierra Nevada!

  • drinking my last one now and i only miller lite left :(

  • I love a good sierra nevada pale ale. Just a good solid beer

  • sn pale ale is too thin for a craft brew to me

  • @fraginat0r I know what your saying I feel similar about Sam Addams, but I have to say Iv never considered Sierra Nevada a craft beer because I drank it for over a decade before I heard the term craft beer.

  • OK I've been drinking SNPA exclusively for a few years and here's what to watch out for. The bottle conditioning done for carbonation ISN'T ALWAYS CONSISTENT. Some times the 12 packs I get are only halfway carbonated or close to flat. The SN brewery blames it on handling and the retailers but that doesn't make sense. IMO they should force carbonate so people don't have to cross their fingers hoping it isn't a flat 12pack.

  • i just drank my first sierra nevada pale ale and I am disappointed it taste more bitter sort of like red stripe which i dont like i think rolling rock is better

  • sierra nevada crystal wheat is quite possible the best beer ever created.

  • Pale Ale is such a delicious beer. I love Sierra Nevada.

Have you ever tried the Summerfest Lager? I think it might be my favorite to date.

  • Hoppy for an APA IMO, but it's a fantastic session brew.

  • hey! I am view #1234!

I really gotta get on this one

  • Thats cool. I also made this video a year ago almost to the day. It is a great summer time beer.

  • It's what I prefer to drink any day of the week.......

    LOL

  • thats paradise its gold cause it taste like gold

  • Sierra Nevada always has a good offering. I love the Pale Ale and there Stout.

  • I like pale ales, but India Pale Ales are even better!

  • That is one great ale , buys da beer!

  • Sierra Nevada is the best. I went to the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, CA. Definitly a nice place to tour.

  • I work right down the street from it, and I have never actually gone inside. Me and my wife would like to take a tour of it someday though. I also hear the resturant inside is good too, but alittle overpriced.

  • How can you have not toured that facility?

    It is immaculate.....

The rest. next door is not that pricey from what I remember. Maybe a little higher than Chili's but I thought it was OK as I drove from Sacto.

Not much else to do in Chico anyway that I can see. Sacto isn't great either.

We do have the awesome Kings and the RiverCats..... LOL

  • norm, ever try anchor steam ?

less of a hang-over but as you can see i love the chico beer !

  • I also tend to get a sort of "dry" type of hang-over from this beer. But I still love the flavor of it.

  • ever try anchor steam norm ?

  • Anchor Steam Is an old favorite. I grew up in Northern California so Anchor Steam and Sierra Nevada are both very nostalgic for me.

  • this beer is just fantastic! but i've got a guestion for you guys in the states. How much does a sierra nevada cost?

Here in europe(sweden) this one's really expensive, almost 3.50usd in a liguid store!

  • In Southern California it is between 6.99 and 9.99 a six pack, depending on where you buy it and if it is on sale. I can usually find it for 14.99 a 12 pack.

  • Ok, ur a lucky guy then;) thanks for replying beerexpedition. I wish you many many more sunny afternoons with cold sierra nevadas!

  • Thats what I'm drinking right now! Great ale

  • I love this beer. It tastes like a dimebag, liquified and cooled down.

  • My story is similar to yours.

  • This also has to be fav of mine. When I first started drinking beer I was only drinking the usual macro brewery beers thinking that these set the standards of what a good beer was. And this was one of the first craft brews I had witch showed me that beers could have delicious flavor! and its been craft brew ever since.
