In the floppy disk version I have, when you don't throw the knife back at Malcolm, he throws another knife that hits Brandon in the chest. In the CD version here, Malcolm casts a spell that turns Brandon to ice (probably to tone down the violence)

Also, Brandon says "Oh no! I'm burnin!" (not Oh S**t) when he crosses the lava river

@xkitenz in the first kyrandia, they appear in the caverns w/o fire berry on floor if: 1) no fireberry bushes, 2) you're in human form (not purple) and 3) not carrying a fireberry with you when you enter ----- in malcom's revenge, they're outside Dorm's home at night (later into the game I think, but not sure, I "think" Malcolm was disguised, just it's been so long

I just got started playing this. I often passed it by in the Comp USA stores back in the "day" but never actually bothered to buy it(what I fool I was at age 22) this is pretty fun! I don't have the "talkie" now, just the download but its fun and funny too. Love the soundtracks. reminds me of Buck Rogers or Bradbury and all that 70s/80s jazz.

There's a little easter egg in this game. If you get eaten by the giant frog near Zanthia's house, then load up an old file and do it again, Brandon ties the frog's tongue in a knot and scolds it like Zanthia does in the second game.
