Some people think the epitome of musical talent is to copy exactly what musicians in the 18th century did.

I personally love Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach...they are my favourite musicians, because they were revolutionaries, they said F*** you to tradition, and changed everything.

People who do that today, will be closer to them than those who think they should be copied. Of course sometimes it's awful, sometimes it's genius. Vanessa Mae = genius.

Techno is not highest on my list of genre's, but vivaldi is one of my favorite composers and Vanessa Mae one of my favorite performers. Storm was released when she was 19 years old. I still have the original CD. Artists dedicate lives to their craft. I like both versions. Vivaldi faced much criticism during his lifetime too.
